What the paper says

Document roll-up

Current to 11 Oct 26

Latest executed paper is the 11 Aug 2025 Growth order form at £44,000 a year, running 2 Sep 2025 to 1 Sep 2026. Calderbrook's 6 Jul 2026 notice declined renewal and no later executed paper exists, so on the documents the subscription ended on 1 Sep 2026.

Executed: four documents are executed. The MSA, DPA and first Growth order form were all signed on 16 Aug 2024, and a second Growth order form was signed on 11 Aug 2025.

The 11 Aug 2025 order form is the latest executed paper. It sets £44,000 per year for 40 licensed users from 2 Sep 2025 to 1 Sep 2026, with 99.5% availability and a P1 first response of 1 business hour.

Open items: no executed paper covers any period after 1 Sep 2026. The notice of 6 Jul 2026, signed by Craig Oduya, Director of Digital and Data, says the subscription will not renew and ends on 1 Sep 2026.

The notice gives platform consolidation on Calderbrook's Microsoft estate as the reason, not service quality. My judgement is that the Growth subscription has ended.

The four drafts are all overtaken:

  • Proposal v1 of 16 Jul 2024 and MSA v2 of 2 Aug 2024 were superseded by the executed paper of 16 Aug 2024 at the same £44,000 price.
  • Renewal Proposal v1 of 23 Jun 2025 was superseded by the 11 Aug 2025 order form, also at £44,000.
  • Renewal Proposal v1 of 10 Jun 2026 was internal, quoted no price and was overtaken by the notice.

Contradictions: the 2 Aug 2026 QBR deck still treats the renewal as open and at risk, and it plans renewal flexibility. This came after the 6 Jul 2026 notice had already declined renewal.

Otherwise the drafts match the executed paper on price, availability and P1 response.

Commitments: under the executed DPA, BB-Demo must remove its access at the end and delete any copies held outside the customer's Snowflake account. The notice asks for written confirmation of the end date, data location, connector switch-off, access withdrawal, a handover session and deletion.

The documents do not show that BB-Demo replied to these requests.

Gaps: all 24 documents were read. No executed document names the customer signatory.

The documents name Tom Ashdown as account owner but cannot show whether he still works at BB-Demo, so HR should confirm this. The QBR decks give different descriptions of the fall in active users from quarter to quarter, and none of them explains the cause.

Size is importance: state 40%, category 20%, recency 25% (18-month half-life on the as-of date) and usage 15%. There are no view counts: usage means how many of our own analyses cite the document, saturating at 5. A draft hangs on the executed or issued document it drafts for, in the same folder. A draft with nothing executed behind it stays a small leaf on its own.

Where two systems disagree (for example a contract and the CRM), the key facts show both values and mark the difference.
