As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Searches were slow during initial connector setup. Bethan explained this is normal during first full index and settles after a few days.
Problem: Abbie noticed the brain was sluggish when running searches during onboarding and wondered if too much data was loading in the background. Handling: Bethan correctly identified this as normal first-sync behavior where the brain indexes all initial data. She reassured her this settles once the first full index completes, typically within a few days, and offered to check progress if needed.

- created · Abbie Gaskarth 18 Feb 2025 13:58The brain seems sluggish when I'm trying to run searches. It's taking much longer than expected to return results. We've only just set up the connectors so I'm wondering if we've got too much data loading in the background or something?

This should settle down once the first full index is complete, usually within a few days. Let me check where you are in the process. Can you tell me how many records you're loading? Thanks, Bethan
