As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Rhian reported a new team member could not log into the brain after accepting a Snowflake invite, seeing access denied errors. Bethan guided her through a manual user refresh in the brain settings, resolving the sync issue.
Problem: A new user was invited to Snowflake and accepted, but failed to log into the brain with access denied errors. The permissions had not synced automatically. Handling: Bethan troubleshot by asking whether the user had accepted the Snowflake invite. Once confirmed, he provided the fix: navigate to Settings > Users, find the user entry, and click refresh to manually sync the permissions. Watch: This is a standard access setup issue resolved cleanly. This pattern may indicate customers need clearer onboarding documentation on sync timing between Snowflake and the brain.

- created · Rhian Morgan 27 Nov 2024 14:09We've added a new team member to the brain and invited her to the Snowflake account, but when she tries to log in she's getting an access denied error. She needs to be able to query our CRM and call data. Can you help us set up her permissions?
- Public reply · Bethan Lister 27 Nov 2024 18:32Thanks for getting in touch. Just so I've got this right, she's seeing an access denied error when she tries to log in. Has she accepted the invite to the Snowflake account? Once she's in, the permissions on the brain should sync automatically, but sometimes we need to refresh manually.
- Public reply · Rhian Morgan 29 Nov 2024 15:23Yes, she's accepted the Snowflake invite. I've confirmed she's in the account. So what do I need to do on the brain side to get her access working?
- Public reply · Bethan Lister 3 Dec 2024 10:41Go to Settings > Users in the brain and find her entry. Click the refresh button next to her name, wait a moment, and then have her try logging in again. That should clear the access denied error. Can you try that and tell me what you see?
