What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Alan Rennie reported duplicate account records affecting reporting. Bethan Lister investigated and found the duplicates originated in the customer's Salesforce CRM, not in the brain. Alan agreed to clean up the data on their end. Closed 11 November 2025.
Problem: queries were returning duplicate account records. Handling: Bethan checked Salesforce connector logs and identified the customer's own CRM had duplicate account records; not a BG-Demo issue. Outcome: customer will clean up their source data. Watch: customer data quality issues could affect confidence in brain accuracy.

- created · Alan Rennie 31 Oct 2025 10:35We're seeing duplicate records when we query for some accounts. It's affecting our reporting. Can you look into where these are coming from?
- Public reply · Bethan Lister 31 Oct 2025 11:08Hi Alan, just so I've got this right, you're seeing multiple records for the same account? Can you give me a specific example of what you're seeing?
- Internal note · Bethan Lister 3 Nov 2025 10:12Checked the Salesforce connector. The duplicates are on the customer's side: they have duplicate account records in their own CRM. Not something we've created. Customer needs to clean up their data or we can configure a filter to deduplicate on our end.
- Public reply · Alan Rennie 3 Nov 2025 10:31Got it, that makes sense. We'll clean up the records on our side. Thanks for checking.
