Emma Haworth asked how to set up a read-only viewer role for a new hire joining 23 Jul 2025. Bethan confirmed Viewer role provides read-only access via Users section self-service.

Problem: Emma needed to configure permissions for a new team member to view dashboards but not edit them.

Handling: Bethan explained the three roles (admin, editor, viewer) and confirmed Viewer provides read-only access. Emma could self-serve user addition in the Users section.

Watch: Role management shows mature adoption. Emma is a Business Systems Analyst; her comfort with self-service suggests strong technical adoption across Quaystead.

We're going to onboard someone new on Monday. She'll be a read-only viewer, can we set up that permission level? Emma

Hi Emma, when you add a new user, you can choose their role: admin, editor, or viewer. Viewer is read-only and perfect for what you need. Just add her as a Viewer in the Users section. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks, Bethan

Data as of Fri 9 Oct 2026. Text marked AI was written by the brain from the records listed in its made-from link; an AI output that cannot cite its evidence is refused and the previous text kept. Where two systems disagree (for example a contract and the CRM), the key facts show both values and mark the difference.
