What this says
Current to 14 Oct 26Marcus Bell gave formal notice of the Growth renewal on 24 Jul 2026 at £48k. CFO Huw Bevan wants a usage summary, says Cerys has moved on, and asked what Penmaen would lose if it did not renew.
Ask: Marcus gave notice, set a target of 24 Jun 2026 to agree the renewal, copied Tom Ashdown for terms, and offered a usage summary.
Customer view: Huw wants to know who actually uses the brain now and what would be lost without it. He said not to rush.
Next: The champion has left and the decision sits with the CFO, so a value case is needed. The evidence does not show a renewal decision.

- Marcus Bell 24 Apr 2026 11:07Dear Huw, I'm writing as your customer success manager to give you formal notice that the Penmaen Software Growth subscription comes up for renewal on 24 Jul 2026. The current annual subscription is £48,500. We've opened the renewal and are working to a target of 24 Jun 2026 to have it agreed. I've copied Tom Ashdown, who looks after the commercial side and will confirm the terms for the new year. To help you decide, I'm happy to put together a short usage summary: who is asking questions, which sources are connected and how the 40 licensed users are being used. Shall we book 30 minutes in the next couple of weeks? Thanks, Marcus
- Huw Bevan 24 Apr 2026 12:39Marcus, Thank you for the notice. Please do send the usage summary. Cerys moved on last month, so I would like to understand who is actually using it now, and what we would lose if we did not renew. Let's not rush. I will look at it with my team once I have your figures. Huw Bevan
