Current to 14 Oct 26After the demo, Matthew Grice asked about data storage and time to connect systems. Nell Ashcombe answered with Tobias Renwick's explanation. Matthew aims to give a view before the middle of August.
Ask: Matthew asked where data is stored and how long connected systems take to show after signing.
Customer view: He found the data answer clear and passed it to IT. The decision is not made, and he will confirm timing after internal talks.
Next: Nell offered a call between IT and Tobias. The Starter proposal total of £26k includes the one-off implementation fee.

- Nell Ashcombe 27 Jun 2023 10:02Harjit, Matthew, Thank you both for your time on the demo. The questions were useful, especially the ones about where the data sits and who can see what. I have copied Tobias, our CTO, who built the architecture and can answer anything your security or IT colleagues raise. The proposal for the Starter plan is on its way separately. The total for the first year comes to £25,500, which includes the one-off implementation fee, so please do not read it as the annual subscription on its own. If you can send me the questions your team wants answered before a decision, I will make sure each one gets a straight reply. Best, Nell
- Matthew Grice 27 Jun 2023 12:00Hi Nell, Thanks for the follow-up. Two things from our side. First, our IT colleagues will want to know where the data is stored and whether anything leaves our environment. Second, I would like to understand how long it takes before the connected systems are all showing in the brain after signing. If Tobias can cover the first one in writing, that would help us. Thanks, Matthew
- Nell Ashcombe 28 Jun 2023 16:36Matthew, Harjit, Tobias has looked at this and I will give you his answer as he put it to me. To be precise, the brain is built and run inside your own Snowflake account, so the data stays under your controls and is not copied to a separate BB-Demo store. On timing, the implementation is a fixed-fee project with a plan agreed up front, and the proposal sets out how the connectors are brought online. I would rather you read that in the document than take my paraphrase. If your IT team would like a call with Tobias directly, say so and I will arrange it. Best, Nell
- Matthew Grice 29 Jun 2023 11:34Hi Nell, That is clear, thank you. I have passed Tobias's explanation to our IT colleagues and will let you know if they have follow-up questions. We are aiming to give you a view before the middle of August, as you suggested, but I will confirm once we have spoken internally. Thanks, Matthew
