Daniel Okafor gave formal renewal notice on 16 Sep 2026. Graham Tovey welcomed the early notice, asked what changes and how complaint handling holds up with Ofgem, and made any decision conditional on a colleague's view of the value case.

Ask: Graham wants a short answer for the board on what changes in the renewal and how complaint handling holds up with Ofgem on the platform proposed.

Customer view: He liked the early notice but will not decide until a colleague he names is comfortable with the value case. Commercial detail from Tom Ashdown should wait until then.

BB-Demo reply: Daniel said the tier and licensed users stay as they are and left commercial differences to Tom. He promised a one-page note on how complaint answers are traced through the brain and call options for Graham's office.

Next: The target close stays 20 Nov 2026. The term runs to 9 Jan 2027.

Dear Graham, I wanted you to hear this from me early rather than late. Your Enterprise term runs to 9 Jan 2027, and we have opened the renewal so that nothing is left to the last minute. This note is the formal notice, and Tom Ashdown, who looks after the commercial side of your account, is copied in. For reference, your contracted annual recurring revenue is currently £120,500 for 180 licensed users. The renewal is open with a target close of Friday 20 November 2026, and the deal as it is currently scoped stands at £130,750 in total value. Tom will take you through exactly what sits behind that figure, so please treat it as a working number rather than a quote. I know you will want Siân's view on the value your teams are getting before anything is agreed, and I would welcome that. I have already asked her to help shape the next quarterly review so that it covers the evidence properly. Would a short call with you, Tom and me be useful in the next fortnight? If it is easier, I can fit around your assistant's diary. Best wishes, Daniel

Daniel, Thank you for the early notice. That is how I like to be told. Two questions. First, what changes in the renewal compared with the current term, and is anything in the scope likely to move? Second, how does the complaint handling picture hold up with Ofgem on the platform you are proposing? I would like a short answer I can take to the board, not a long paper. I will not take a decision without Siân. Please work with her directly on the value case, and have Tom send me the commercial detail once she is comfortable. A call is fine. Let my office know the options. Graham Tovey

Dear Graham, Thank you, that is very clear. On your first question: the tier and the licensed users stay as they are, and the commercial detail is Tom's to confirm, so I will ask him to set out in writing what is the same and what differs from the current term. I won't guess at it here. On your second: I'll prepare a short note for you and Siân on how complaint answers are traced through the brain today, so you can judge for yourself how it holds up. I will keep it to a page. I'll come back to you by the middle of next week with that note, and Tom will send his paperwork once Siân has had her say. My team will send your office a few call options in the meantime. Just to close the loop, the target remains Friday 20 November 2026, and I would much rather we move faster than slower if you are happy. Best wishes, Daniel
