What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Graham Tovey, Chief Customer Officer, says the direction is right but asks how complaint handling would stand up to Ofgem and how long the security review will take. Tom Ashdown promises a note and a security outline.
Ask: Graham wants a plain-terms answer on Ofgem rules and what could be shown if asked, plus the steps and duration of the security review.
Customer view: supportive in direction but conditional. He wants Siân's view before going further and asks to be told early if anything looks tight.
Next: Tom will send the complaint-handling note and security outline together, and flag any pressure on 27 Dec 2024. The £145k is the whole deal, not an annual price.

- Tom Ashdown 31 Oct 2024 13:09Hi both, Thanks for your time in the session, and for the questions from the teams, which were sharp and exactly what I'd hoped for. Just to put the headline in writing: the proposal is for Enterprise, and the total value of the deal is £145,000. That is the whole deal, so it covers the one-off implementation as well as the subscription, and it should not be read as an annual price. I'll set the split out clearly in the order form so there's no confusion later. We've pencilled in 27 Dec 2024 as the date we'd aim to have it signed, but that's a plan rather than a deadline, and I'd rather you took the time you need. If you can send me any outstanding questions by Monday, I'll get answers back to you quickly. Anything on security review or how complaint records are handled, let me know and I'll bring the right people in. Best, Tom
- Graham Tovey 4 Nov 2024 12:15Tom, Thank you for the summary. The headline from my side is that the direction is right, but I have two points before I can say more. First, how does this hold up with Ofgem? I need to know that complaint handling built on this would stand up to the regulator's rules, and what we would be able to show if asked. Please set that out in plain terms. Second, I would like to understand what the security review involves and how long it is likely to take, because that is the part most likely to move the timetable. Tell me early, not late, if anything looks tight. Siân is copied. I will want her view before we go any further. Graham Tovey
- Tom Ashdown 7 Nov 2024 10:45Hi Graham, hi Siân, Thanks for the clear questions, Graham. Taking them in turn. On Ofgem, I'm going to put together a short note showing what a complaint handler would see for a business customer and where each piece comes from, so Siân can test it against your own rules before anything is agreed. I don't want to claim more than we can show you on your own data. On the security review, support for it is part of the Enterprise implementation. I'll ask our team to give you a realistic view of the steps and the people you'd need on your side, and I'll flag straight away if I think it puts the 27 Dec 2024 date under pressure. > Tell me early, not late, if anything looks tight. Understood, and I'll keep to that. I'll send the note and the security outline together, so you have it all in one go. Siân, shall we find half an hour next week to go through the note before it goes any further? Cheers, Tom
