What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Siân Pritchard accepted a Thursday 10:00 demo on a slice of Brimscombe Energy's own data, with IT and one person per team. The Chief Customer Officer will not attend and she will brief him afterwards.
Ask: Tom wanted a demo on a small slice of real data, a list of questions from the three teams, and an IT colleague to agree the slice. Daniel Okafor was offered to join.
Customer view: Siân wants to start narrow and widen. Her test is whether calls, bills and the contract agree for a business customer with an open complaint.
Next: Tom to send the invite and tell her what IT needs to prepare. The decision-maker is absent, so she must be able to repeat it simply.

- Tom Ashdown 25 Sep 2024 15:17Hi Siân, Hope your week is going alright. I wanted to get the demo in the diary, as promised. The idea is to show it on a small slice of your own data rather than a made-up example, so people can ask it the questions they really ask. For that I need two things from your side: a colleague in IT to agree what the slice should be, and a short list of questions from the key-account, collections and complaints teams that you would like to see answered. If it helps, I can do next week on Tuesday or Thursday, mornings are best, say 10:00 for about an hour. Our customer success lead, Daniel Okafor, would like to join so you meet him before there is anything to sign, and he can talk about how the first weeks usually go. Who do you want in the room? My suggestion is somebody from each of the three teams, plus IT, and whoever you think should have the final say. Let me know what suits and I will send an invite. Best, Tom Tom Ashdown Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Siân Pritchard 30 Sep 2024 10:40Hi Tom, Sorry for the slow reply, last week got away from me. Thursday morning works, so please send the invite for 10:00. I have checked with a colleague in IT and he is happy to join and to talk about which slice of data we are comfortable with. I would rather start narrow and widen it than the other way round. For the room: one person from each of the three teams, plus me, plus IT. Our Chief Customer Officer will not be there for the demo, but I will brief him afterwards, so please keep it simple enough that I can repeat it to him accurately. The questions are still coming in. The one I keep coming back to is: for a business customer with a complaint open, what do the calls, the bills and the contract each say, and do they agree? What does the record say? That is the test I would like the demo to pass. Can you tell me roughly what you need from IT before Thursday so that nobody is scrambling on the day? Diolch, Siân
