Current to 13 Oct 26After the kickoff, Helen Dyson agreed to set up a dedicated Snowflake role limited to the databases the brain needs, subject to security review. She asked for an object list and nightly refresh description.
Ask: Helen wants a list of objects the brain reads and writes and what the nightly refresh does. She also asked whether user access is controlled on the customer side.
Customer view: Cooperative but cautious on scope, and slow to reply by her own account. Nicola has still to name the first teams.
Next: Laura will send the object list early the following week and confirmed Imran manages invitations. Marcus Bell will follow up on usage.

- Laura Penhaligon 17 Apr 2025 09:50Hello Nicola, hello Helen, Thank you both for joining the kickoff. It was useful to hear what Nicola's account managers want to see in one place: collections, missed-collection tickets, calls and invoices for each customer. A short summary of what we agreed, so we are all working from the same list: - First sources to connect: the routing system, the helpdesk and the finance data. Imran will lead on these. - The brain runs inside your Snowflake account, so Helen, I'd like your team to confirm who will create the role and warehouse access for us. - Licensed users: the Growth plan covers 40, and Nicola will tell us which teams come first. Helen, the main question for you is the access model: who approves it, and whether your security team needs anything written down from us before they sign off. If so, tell me what format they prefer and I'll prepare it. Nicola, could you send me a first list of the account managers who should be invited? Kind regards, Laura Laura Penhaligon Implementation Consultant, BB-Demo
- Helen Dyson 22 Apr 2025 09:17Laura, Thanks for the summary, and apologies for the slow reply, it has been a busy week. Access to Snowflake is approved through my team, and I'm happy to set up a dedicated role. We would want it limited to the databases the brain needs rather than anything broader. Please send me a list of the objects it will read and write, and what the nightly refresh does, and I'll take it to our security review. I don't need anything formal from BB-Demo at this stage beyond that, but I would like to see how user access is managed once the account managers are invited. Is that something we control from our side? Nicola, I'll leave it with you to decide which teams go first. Regards, Helen
- Laura Penhaligon 25 Apr 2025 17:07Hello both, Thanks, Helen. That's clear. I'll send the list of objects and a short description of the nightly refresh early next week, so your team has it for the security review. On user access, your admin, Imran, manages invitations and removals on your side, so your team stays in control of who has a seat. Nicola, when you have the first group of account managers, send the names to me and Marcus and we'll get invitations ready for after the connectors are tested. Marcus is copied as your customer success manager and will be in touch about how the first weeks look from the usage side. Have a good weekend. Kind regards, Laura
