Ask: Tom wants about forty minutes on member queries, trustee calls and what has changed at Lornefield. Douglas replied within two days and proposed times.
Customer view: he welcomes the conversation but asks that nothing be treated as settled. He says the group's position is something he will need to take forward in due course.

I'd like to book a discovery call so we can hear what you're looking for, especially around member queries and trustee calls, and talk through what has changed at your end since we last worked together. No drama, and no slides. About forty minutes should do it. Could you let me know a couple of times that suit you later this week or early next week? Happy to work round your diary. If you'd rather someone else from your team joined, that's fine too. Best, Tom Tom Ashdown Account Executive, BB-Demo
- Douglas Baird 30 Sep 2026 08:28Dear Tom, Thank you for your message, and for getting in touch so promptly. I'd welcome a conversation. Thursday afternoon would suit me, should that be convenient for you. If not, Friday morning would be my second choice. I may ask one of our scheme-relationship managers to join us, as she is closest to the member query work, and I will confirm that with you beforehand. In fairness, I would ask that we treat this first call as an exchange of views only. The group's position is a matter I shall need to take forward in due course, and I would not want to give the impression that anything is settled. Kind regards, Douglas Baird
