What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Tom Ashdown's proposal to expand Penmaen Software's Growth subscription, dated 5 Mar 2025. It states an annual price of £4,500 for the expansion and a deal amount of £1,319. It is a proposal, not an order form, and states no availability or P1 response figures.
What it is: a customer-facing proposal from Tom Ashdown for an expansion under the existing Growth agreement and order form. It sets the existing subscription at £40k a year, 40 licensed users, running to 24 Jul 2025.
Commits: nothing binding. The text says "I prepare an order form for signature" only after the customer agrees the final shape, so this remains an open item.
Unusual: the expansion shows two figures, an annual price of £4,500 and a deal amount of £1,319, described as "the total value of this expansion as it will be invoiced to you". The text does not explain the gap or the number of extra users.
Not settled: whether the expansion was signed, the added user count, and the renewal terms for the main subscription ending 24 Jul 2025, which Marcus Bell is to pick up.

Penmaen Software - Proposal
Proposal for an expansion of the Growth subscription
| Prepared for | Penmaen Software, Cardiff |
| Prepared by | Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo |
| Customer success manager | Marcus Bell |
| Date | 5 Mar 2025 |
1. Where we are today
Penmaen Software has used the BB-Demo company brain since 25 Jul 2024. You build booking and membership software for gyms and leisure centres, and you chose the Growth tier so that your customer success team could read tickets, renewals and usage for each leisure operator without moving between systems.
Your current subscription is contracted at £40k a year, covers 40 licensed users, and runs to 24 Jul 2025.
Since the start of the year more of your team have been using the brain, and they are asking it more questions than before. Support contact has been light and your account is fully up to date on invoices. We want to build on that.
2. What we propose
Read the whole document (2,662 characters)
An expansion of your Growth subscription, under your existing agreement and order form. You stay on the Growth tier with the same features and service levels you have now, including the dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews with Marcus Bell.
The aim is simple: let more of your customer success team work from the brain in the way your first group already does, so that fewer questions end up being answered by hand from separate systems.
3. Commercials
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Tier | Growth |
| Deal type | Expansion |
| Annual price of the expansion | £4,500 |
| Deal amount | £1,319 |
| Current contracted annual subscription | £40k |
| Licensed users today | 40 |
The deal amount is the total value of this expansion as it will be invoiced to you. The annual price shows what the expansion is worth over a full year. Neither changes your existing subscription, which carries on as it is. Payment follows your current terms.
4. What stays the same
- Your brain keeps running inside your own Snowflake account.
- Your existing connectors and the nightly refresh carry on unchanged.
- Your service levels remain those of the Growth tier.
- Your main subscription end date of 24 Jul 2025 is unaffected by this proposal, and Marcus will pick up the renewal conversation with you in good time.
5. Next steps
- You read this and tell me what you would change. No drama if the scope needs adjusting.
- We agree the final shape together and I prepare an order form for signature.
- Marcus Bell confirms the new usage in your next review.
If it helps, let's get something in the diary to talk it through.
Best, Tom
