What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Draft first proposal dated 5 Jun 2024 for the Growth tier at £40k a year, with a first-year deal amount of £52k including implementation. It is unpriced-final: Tom is to confirm all prices, and four open points remain.
What it is: a first-draft proposal from Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, to Penmaen Software, marked "Status: Draft". It proposes the Growth tier built inside Penmaen Software's own Snowflake account.
Commits: nothing binding. It states a Growth subscription of £40k annual, in advance, and a total deal amount of £52k for the first year including implementation. No service levels, connector dates or payment terms are stated.
Unusual: the £52k is a first-year total, not the subscription price, and the document says so. The £40k sits below the v1 Growth list price in the company brief, which the document does not explain.
Not settled: "The exact list of sources to connect at the start", who will own the brain day to day, any first-term discount and the go-live date. It also says "Tom to confirm all prices before this goes to Penmaen Software". It is not an order form and does not show what was signed.

Body
Penmaen Software - Proposal v1
Status: Draft
Prepared for Penmaen Software by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo
Date: 5 Jun 2024
Context
Penmaen Software, based in Cardiff, supplies booking and membership software to gyms and leisure centres. Its customer success team needs a single place to read tickets, renewals and product usage for each leisure operator, without reconciling exports from several systems by hand.
This draft sets out how BG-Demo would meet that need with B-Glass, built and run inside Penmaen Software's own Snowflake account.
What we propose
The Growth tier, which is designed for several teams working from the same data. In outline:
- Connect the helpdesk, the CRM, the finance system and product usage data to the brain.
- Give customer success a view per leisure operator covering tickets, renewal dates and usage.
- Pages, chat and search across all connected sources, so a question about an operator can be asked in plain English.
- The dashboards builder, so the team can build and keep its own operator views.
- Quarterly business reviews with the BG-Demo customer success manager, Marcus Bell.

| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Growth subscription, annual, in advance | £40k |
| One-off fixed-fee implementation | Included in the deal amount below |
| Total deal amount (first year, including implementation) | £52k |
The deal amount is the total value of the first year including the one-off implementation fee. The annual subscription price on its own is £40k.
Delivery approach
- Discovery with the customer success lead to agree which operator questions matter most.
- Connector set-up, starting with the sources that answer those questions.
- A demo on Penmaen Software's own data before anything is signed off.
- Handover to customer success, with Marcus Bell as the ongoing contact.
Open points
This is a first draft and the following are still to be agreed:
- The exact list of sources to connect at the start.
- Who at Penmaen Software will own the brain day to day.
- Whether any discount applies to the first term.
- The target go-live date.
Next steps
- Tom to confirm all prices before this goes to Penmaen Software.
- Review the open points above with the customer success lead.
- Agree a date for the demo on Penmaen Software's data.
- Issue the final proposal, followed by the order form under the MSA.
