What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Proposal dated 28 Oct 2024 from Tom Ashdown for the Enterprise tier. Annual subscription £115k in advance; deal amount £145k including one-off implementation. Service level figures are not stated; the order form is to set them.
What it is: a final-status sales proposal from BG-Demo to Brimscombe Energy for a company-wide Enterprise deployment for key-account, collections and complaints teams. It is a proposal, not an executed order form.
Commits: "The annual price of £115k is the recurring subscription." The deal amount of £145k "includes the one-off implementation fee". Billing is annual in advance on standard payment terms.
Unusual: nothing off standard terms. Quarterly billing is offered for discussion when the order form is drawn up.
Not settled: availability, P1 response and credit figures are not stated, since "the order form... takes precedence over this proposal if the two ever differ". Connector live dates are also left to the order form. The evidence does not show whether it was accepted or signed.

Body
Brimscombe Energy - Proposal
Prepared for: Brimscombe Energy, Gloucester Prepared by: Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo Customer success contact: Daniel Okafor, BG-Demo Date: 28 Oct 2024 Status: Final
Executive summary
Brimscombe Energy supplies business gas and electricity to a large base of small, medium and corporate sites. Your key-account, collections and complaints teams each hold part of the picture of a business customer, and today they assemble it by hand from several systems. This proposal sets out how BG-Demo's B-Glass, on the Enterprise tier, gives those teams one place to see each business customer's sites, contracts, calls and bills together.
The brain is built and run inside your own Snowflake account, so your data stays under your control throughout.
Where you are today
From our discovery conversations, the picture we heard is this:
Read the whole document (5,828 characters)
- A business customer with many sites is spread across the CRM, the billing system, the call recorder and the helpdesk, and nobody sees all of it at once.
- Key-account managers prepare for a customer conversation by reconciling records manually, which is slow and varies from person to person.
- Collections colleagues often need to know about an open complaint or a contract query before they chase a bill, and cannot easily find out.
- Complaints handlers need the history of calls and bills in front of them to give a clear answer the first time.
We have not assumed more than this. If any of it is wrong, tell us and we will correct the scope before work starts.
What we propose
We propose BG-Demo's Enterprise tier, delivered as a company-wide deployment for the three teams above, with room to extend to others later.
Scope
- One layer over your sources. The brain connects your CRM, call recordings, email, helpdesk tickets, billing and finance data and indexes them so they can be asked about in plain language.
- Customer view. For each business customer: sites, contracts, recent calls, open complaints and billing position, on one page that can also be queried through chat and search.
- Team-specific questions. Key-account, collections and complaints teams ask the brain the questions they currently answer by hand, such as which sites are on a contract nearing its end, or whether a complaint is open before a payment chase goes out.
- Dashboards. Your own analysts can build dashboards on top of the brain for management reporting.
- Enterprise controls. Single sign-on and user provisioning, an executive sponsor on the BG-Demo side, and the Enterprise service levels for availability, first response and data freshness.
- Security review support. Our team supports your security and information governance review as part of implementation.
How we will deliver it
- Discovery and design. We confirm sources, owners and the questions each team most needs answered.
- Connect and index. We connect your systems inside your Snowflake account and agree a live date for each connector in the order form.
- Prove it on your data. Each team tries the brain on real customers and we tune it with them.
- Roll out and hand over. Training for the teams, a named executive sponsor, and a quarterly review with Daniel Okafor once you are live.
Implementation is a fixed-fee, one-off piece of work with a defined duration for the Enterprise tier. It is not a time-and-materials estimate.
Commercials
| Item | Basis | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Enterprise subscription | Annual, in advance | £115k |
| Implementation | One-off, fixed fee | Included in the deal amount below |
| Deal amount | Subscription plus one-off implementation | £145k |
The annual price of £115k is the recurring subscription. The deal amount of £145k is the total value of the deal and includes the one-off implementation fee, which is the balance above the annual price. Only the subscription recurs in later years.
Billing is annual in advance on our standard payment terms. If quarterly billing would suit your finance team better, we can discuss that when the order form is drawn up.
Service levels
The Enterprise tier carries our highest service levels:
- The higher Enterprise availability commitment.
- The fastest first-response time for a priority one issue.
- A nightly data refresh complete by 07:00 UK time on business days.
- Service credits for both availability and data freshness.
The exact figures are written into the order form, which takes precedence over this proposal if the two ever differ.
What we need from Brimscombe Energy
- A sponsor on your side who can make decisions across the three teams.
- A named technical contact for each source system.
- Access to your Snowflake account for the build.
- A short list of the questions each team most wants answered, so that we can prove value early.
Risks and how we handle them
- Data quality in source systems. Where records are inconsistent, we flag it during connect and index rather than hide it.
- Adoption. A brain nobody asks is worth nothing, so we measure questions asked by team and review them with you each quarter.
- Key-person dependence. We recommend at least two administrators on your side from the start.
Next steps
- Review this proposal with your sponsor and the three team leads.
- Share any questions on scope, security or commercials with Tom Ashdown, who will confirm any figure in writing before it goes into an order form.
- Hold a security and information governance session with our team.
- Agree the order form under our master agreement, including connector live dates.
- Set a kick-off date for discovery.
Let's get something in the diary once you have had a chance to read this through.
Tom Ashdown Account Executive, BG-Demo
