What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Proposal call on 24 Dec 2025. Jacinta Hoad liked the demo and checked the £28k breakdown, renewal price and lock-in. She will take it to Grant Mattner and the finance team and answer early the following week.
What happened: Lewis Kerr walked Jacinta Hoad through the proposal on 24 Dec 2025. Grant Mattner was not on the call, and Jacinta said she would review it with him and the finance team.
Customer view: She confirmed the £28k covers £6,000 implementation and £22k for the first year, with renewal quoted at £22k. She asked about extra connectors, support and lock-in.
Commercial: Lewis said there is no long-term lock-in and described month-to-month terms after year one with 30 days' notice. He also quoted email support with a 24-hour response; the executed order form, not the call, will decide those terms.
Watch: The evidence does not show whether Saltia signed. Lewis expected early January signature and a go-live about four weeks later.

Transcript
- Lewis KerrHi Jacinta, thanks for making time. Did you get the proposal I sent over?
- Jacinta HoadYes, we did. I've had a look through. We liked the demo, but I wanted to understand the terms a bit better.
- Lewis KerrFair enough. What are your questions?
- Jacinta HoadSo the 28,000 upfront, that covers the implementation and the first year subscription?
- Lewis KerrRight. So that breaks down as 6,000 for implementation: four weeks, getting you live and trained: and then 22,000 for the first year subscription. Starter tier, 15 users, four connectors.
- Jacinta HoadAnd then what's the renewal, is it still 22,000?
- Lewis KerrYes, 22,000 annually after that, invoiced in advance. You can go quarterly if you prefer, or any other arrangement we can work out.
- Jacinta HoadAnd can you add more connectors later?
- Lewis KerrAbsolutely. You get four to start. If you want to connect another system later, say you bring in a new finance system or CRM, you can add connectors. Each one is a bit extra, but we can talk about that when the time comes.
- Jacinta HoadOK. And the implementation, you said four weeks. How much does that affect our team?
- Lewis KerrRiley would be the main point of contact. Maybe an hour or two a week from them, plus a few days for training with the broader team. Not too disruptive.
- Jacinta HoadThat's manageable. What about support? If we have issues?
- Lewis KerrEmail support, 24-hour response. For urgent stuff, you can escalate. And we do a six-month check-in to make sure the brain is delivering value.
- Jacinta HoadRight. I think Grant wanted to understand the commitment. Is there a long-term lock-in?
- Lewis KerrNo long-term lock-in. You're on month-to-month after the first year, so you can leave with 30 days' notice if you want to. But obviously we'd prefer to keep you happy and you'd stay longer.
- Jacinta HoadThat's good. And timeline, when would we go live?
- Lewis KerrIf you sign in early January, you'd go live in early February. So about four weeks from signature to go-live.
- Jacinta HoadThat's workable. Let me run this by Grant, and I'll come back to you.
- Lewis KerrPerfect. If there are any other questions, just let me know. When do you think you might have an answer?
- Jacinta HoadI'd say early next week. Grant's pretty keen based on the demo.
- Lewis KerrGreat. I'll ping you early next week if I haven't heard anything. Any other questions now?
- Jacinta HoadI don't think so. I'll review this with Grant and the finance team.
- Lewis KerrPerfect. Cheers, Jacinta. Speak soon.
