What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Demo of the brain on merchant data to Lotte Vermeulen on 7 Oct 2026. She said she was impressed and asked the price. Matteo Ricci recommended Growth at £50k a year plus £12k implementation, spoken on the call.
What happened: Matteo Ricci and Theo Gallagher demoed the brain on merchant data for Lotte Vermeulen on 7 Oct 2026. She was the only customer attendee.
Customer view: Lotte went from the merchant-at-risk example to export, freshness, users and dashboards, and said she was impressed before asking the price. She accepted the 07:00 refresh and the 40 users as fine.
Commercial: Matteo recommended Growth and quoted £50k a year paid upfront with £12k implementation, then £50k a year after year one. These are spoken figures, not a written proposal.
Watch: The record does not show a budget owner, a timeline, a rival or a security review. The transcript ends on the answer about year two, so her reaction to the price is not shown.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Matteo Ricci to confirm the Growth proposal and implementation fee in writing for Lotte Vermeulen.
- Matteo Ricci to establish who else signs off and the timeline.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The price was given verbally and the evidence does not show a written proposal or Lotte's reaction to it.
- Only one customer attendee is shown, so the budget owner and any other evaluators are unknown.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- New Growth subscription with implementation, with the dashboard builder and quarterly QBRs matching what Lotte asked about.
- Users above 40 could later be covered by the additional 10 users add-on, though Lotte called 40 plenty.
Transcript
- Matteo RicciLotte, thanks for having us. Theo is our Solutions Engineer and he's going to walk you through the brain with your merchant data. We've got about fifty minutes. Theo?
- Theo GallagherThanks, Matteo. So what you're looking at is the brain once we've connected your CRM, help desk, payment system, and platform into one queryable layer. Instead of running four reports manually, you ask a question in natural language.
- Lotte VermeulenOkay, walk me through the merchant-at-risk example we talked about.
- Theo GallagherRight. So you'd ask something like 'Show me merchants with declining payment volume and high support tickets in the last three months.' The brain searches all four systems, looks for patterns, and surfaces those merchants with context, what's changing, why they might be leaving.
- Lotte VermeulenCan I export that?
- Theo GallagherAbsolutely. Export to CSV, or if your team prefers to stay in the tool, you can drill into each merchant, see their help desk history, their usage trends, the whole picture.
- Lotte VermeulenNice. And how fresh is the data?
- Theo GallagherWe refresh every night, so by 07:00 your time each morning, yesterday's data is live. That works for most merchant operations workflows.
- Lotte VermeulenThat's fine. Do we need to do anything on our end to make that happen?
- Theo GallagherWe handle the connectors. During implementation, we'll work with your team to set up API connections to each system, test the data flow, make sure the refresh is working. That's all included in the implementation.
- Matteo RicciAnd on the Growth tier: which is what we'd recommend for you, given your team size and data complexity: you get eight connectors, up to forty users, dashboards, and quarterly business reviews with us. We become your strategic partner.
- Lotte VermeulenHow many users do we typically see using something like this?
- Matteo RicciDepends on the customer. For merchant operations, we usually see operations teams, finance, sometimes executives querying it themselves. You include up to forty users, and if you go over, we can add more at a reasonable cost.
- Lotte VermeulenThat's plenty. And what about dashboards? Can we build our own?
- Theo GallagherYes, the Growth tier includes a dashboard builder. You can create dashboards from your queries, set them to refresh nightly alongside the data, share them with your team. It's quite flexible.
- Lotte VermeulenOkay, I'm impressed. What does this cost?
- Matteo RicciFor Growth, the subscription is fifty thousand a year, paid upfront. Implementation is twelve thousand. So first year all-in is sixty-two thousand.
- Lotte VermeulenAnd after year one?
- Matteo RicciFifty thousand a year. Implementation is one-time.
