What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Skovdal's Managing Director said the brain had been useful only in patches and was not convinced another year justified an increase. BB-Demo asked for a decision by 12 Jan 2026. The call did not settle the renewal.
What happened: Daniel Okafor opened the renewal call with Sofie Bech and Anders Thomsen, and Tom Ashdown covered price. Tom said the Starter subscription had been at £17,550 for the last year and that pricing would adjust upward from 1 Feb 2026.
Customer view: Sofie described use as moderate and useful in patches, and said she was not convinced another year justified an increase. Anders only asked whether the invoice was in order.
Commercial: Daniel reported about three and a half active users and tickets turned around without issue. Tom asked for a decision by 12 Jan 2026 and promised renewal terms the next day.
Watch: Value rests on one champion in the team. The evidence does not show the new price or what happened after the call.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Tom Ashdown to send the renewal terms the day after the call so Skovdal can see the price point.
- Skovdal to discuss internally for a week or two, then a follow-up call to be scheduled.
- Daniel Okafor to build a value case around the champion's questions ahead of the 12 Jan 2026 decision date.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- The Managing Director doubts another year justifies a price increase on the Starter subscription.
- Value depends on one champion, and use is described as moderate.
- A decision was requested by 12 Jan 2026 and the evidence does not show the outcome.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- A coordinated team could grow the value the champion is already pulling, which Daniel Okafor offered as the case to make.
- Service was solid with tickets resolved cleanly, which supports a value conversation.

- Daniel Okafor NoneHi, Sofie, Anders. Thanks for taking the time this afternoon. So we're here to talk about the renewal: your contract runs until 31 January, and we'd like to understand where you're at with the brain.
- Sofie Bech NoneYes, hello Daniel, Tom. We're evaluating whether to renew. So let's hear what you're proposing.
- Tom Ashdown NoneFair enough. So you've been on Starter for the last year at £17,550. Before we talk renewal, I'd like to understand, how's the team been using it?
- Sofie Bech NoneWe had a few people in it. I'd say moderate use. It was useful when the champion was actively engaged, but we haven't seen a lot of traction otherwise.
- Daniel Okafor NoneOK, that's helpful feedback. I'm looking at the usage on our end. So you've got about three and a half active users on average, and that's actually up a bit from earlier in the term. You've had a couple of tickets: connector question, a data question, and we turned those around without issue.
- Anders Thomsen NoneAnd the invoice is in order?
- Daniel Okafor NoneYes, all clean.
- Tom Ashdown NoneSo from our side, the service has been solid. The question is whether the value proposition is right for you. At renewal from 1 February 2026, the pricing will adjust upward, we took a decision to refresh our pricing a few months back. So I wanted to check, is there appetite to renew at a new price point?
- Sofie Bech NoneWe're not sure, to be honest. It's been useful in patches, but I'm not convinced we'll get enough value out of another year to justify an increase.
- Daniel Okafor NoneI hear that. The thing I'd say is that you do have a champion in your team who's been asking questions and pulling value. If the team could be more coordinated, you might see that value grow.
- Sofie Bech NoneIt's possible. I think we need to talk internally about what we'd want from this.
- Tom Ashdown NoneThat makes sense. Why don't you take a week or two and have that conversation, and then we'll schedule a follow-up call? I can get you the renewal terms in the meantime so you can see the price point. Is that fair?
- Anders Thomsen NoneYes, we'll have a look and get back to you.
- Tom Ashdown NoneBrilliant. I'll send that over tomorrow. We'd want to get a decision by 12 January 2026 so there's no gap on 31 January, OK?
- Sofie Bech NoneFine. Thanks.
- Daniel Okafor NoneThanks, Sofie, Anders. Just to close the loop, if you have any questions on the platform, my door's always open. Cheers.
- Sofie Bech NoneCheers.
