As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Jamal Edwards requested native export-to-spreadsheet functionality for project lists with costs and variations. Connor Webb explained no native feature exists but offered query copy and direct Snowflake access workarounds, and logged a feature request.
Problem: Jamal was manually copying project data from the brain to spreadsheets, which was time-consuming. He wanted to export project lists with status, cost code, and variations. Handling: Connor explained that no native export exists but offered two workarounds: run a query and copy results to a spreadsheet, or access raw data tables directly in Snowflake. He logged the request as a feature request and promised to check the product roadmap. Watch: Feature request indicates customer desire for better export capability; this is an opportunity signal for product development.

- created · Jamal Edwards 14 Mar 2025 08:02Hi, would it be possible to export a list of active projects with their costs and variations into a spreadsheet? At the moment I'm copying everything manually from the brain, which is quite time-consuming. Ideally I'd want to include the project status, cost code and any variations we've issued. Is this functionality available, or is there a plan to add it?
- Public reply · Connor Webb 14 Mar 2025 11:39Hi Jamal, thanks for the request. I understand the pain point here. The brain doesn't currently have a native export-to-spreadsheet feature for custom lists, but there are a couple of things you can try. You could run a query in the brain and copy the results directly into a spreadsheet, which gets you the data you need. Alternatively, if your team has access to Snowflake, you might be able to query the raw data tables directly. I've made a note of this as a feature request and I'll check with the team to see if it's on the roadmap. For now, happy to help you get the workaround set up if you'd like. Best, Connor
