- created · Siân Pritchard 15 Jan 2026 13:18This week our complaints team asked the brain for complaints by account, and the results aren't matching the source system. The counts are consistently lower than what we're seeing in the records. I can see the raw data is there in Snowflake, but something's filtering it out.
- public_reply · Kate Ormerod 15 Jan 2026 20:00Thanks for reporting this, Siân. I can see the count discrepancy. Can you give me the date range you're querying and an example of an account where the numbers don't match? That'll help me identify whether it's a filter condition or something with data freshness. Cheers, Kate
- public_reply · Kate Ormerod 19 Jan 2026 12:14Found it. There's a filter in the query template that excludes records with a null complaint category. Your data has legitimate complaints without a category assigned, and they're being filtered out. I've pushed a fix to make that condition optional. Can you try querying again and let me know if the counts look right now?
- public_reply · Siân Pritchard 19 Jan 2026 14:36Just ran it again and the numbers match now. Good. Before we close this: is this fix in the latest release?
- public_reply · Siân Pritchard 19 Jan 2026 16:05Excellent. The complaints team are seeing the right counts now. Diolch.
