As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lee seeks to add 30 users from corporate account team to the brain for sales, service and billing access. Olivia recommends separate team structure with Snowflake role-based access control. Lee's follow-up questions about audit logs and permissions remain unanswered.
Lee Hathaway is expanding adoption by onboarding 30 staff across three functions who need unified access to customer data. Olivia correctly guides him toward team segregation using Snowflake roles for least-privilege access.
Problem: Lee's follow-up questions about whether users can self-manage dashboards and whether audit logs are available go unanswered, leaving questions about compliance and governance unresolved.
Watch: This is a clear upsell opportunity; the customer is asking about compliance audit trails, which signals potential need for Premium support or an add-on.

There's about 30 people across sales, service and billing who need to see their customer sites, contracts, call recordings and bills all in one place. I have a spreadsheet with their names and email addresses ready to go. Can you walk me through how to set this up? Should we create them as a separate team within the brain, or add them to the existing team structure? And how do we make sure each person only sees the accounts they're meant to be managing?

The best approach for a team that size is to create them as a separate team in the brain so you can manage their access independently. That way you can keep corporate account permissions separate from your other teams and adjust them as needed. Send me the spreadsheet and I'll batch-create them. You control who sees what by assigning Snowflake roles on your end. Once someone's got the right role, they'll only see the accounts and data that role covers. Send it over whenever you're ready and we'll get them started. Cheers, Olivia
- Public reply · Lee Hathaway 15 Apr 2025 17:00Thanks, Olivia. I'll send the list over tomorrow. One follow-up question: once they're in, can they create their own dashboards and saved searches, or do we need to manage those for them? Also, for compliance reasons, our audit team needs to be able to see logs of who accessed what data and when. Is that available to us?
