What this says
Current to 14 Oct 26The helpdesk connector stopped syncing. Olivia identified an API key rotation by the customer's helpdesk team; Imran updated the connector credentials.
Problem: The helpdesk connector stopped pulling records after a successful pull on Friday. Handling: Olivia reviewed logs and found the connection dropping post-authentication. Imran confirmed the helpdesk team had rotated the API key as part of a security update and provided the new credentials. Watch: Connector stall alerts should be offered. Recommend establishing with Harcastle a change notification process so API key rotations are communicated to the data team.

Our account managers are seeing stale ticket data in the brain. The nightly refresh is completing but not picking up any new records from the helpdesk. I've checked our end: the connector credentials are still valid, the helpdesk system itself is fine, and we haven't made any changes to our setup. Can you check if something has broken on your side?

The connection is dropping after the initial authentication. Can you check if your helpdesk system has had any changes to its API keys or IP whitelisting over the past few days? It could also be that the helpdesk updated their API without warning. Let me know what you find.
- public_reply · Imran Hussain 15 Jan 2026 10:53I've checked with our helpdesk admin and they confirmed they rotated the API key on Friday morning as part of their security update, that wasn't communicated to us. I've got the new key and reset the connector credentials on our end. Should be good now, can you check if the sync has picked it up?
