Current to 12 Oct 26Liam Corner reported duplicate account records with different invoice history. Connor Webb traced duplicates to source CRM data migration issue. Opened 17 Oct 2025, solved 31 Oct 2025.
Problem: Liam identified accounts appearing twice in the brain with different data, including different invoice records, blocking accurate account queries.
Handling: Connor Webb worked with Liam to identify an example. Internal investigation traced duplicates to the source CRM system which had incomplete data migration cleanup. BB-Demo scheduled re-sync on the next nightly refresh.
Watch: Source system data quality issues are outside BB-Demo's control but do impact brain accuracy. This was handled well and resolved.

- created · Liam Corner 17 Oct 2025 09:13We're seeing duplicate records in the brain when we pull account data. Some accounts are appearing twice with slightly different information. Can you investigate?
- public_reply · Connor Webb 17 Oct 2025 11:47Hi Liam, thanks for reporting that. Duplicates can happen when source systems have syncing issues. Can you give me an example of an account that's showing up twice? That'll help me find the root cause.
- public_reply · Liam Corner 21 Oct 2025 09:14Yes, one account appears twice. One copy has invoices up to July, the second has August invoices too. They should be merged.
- internal_note · Connor Webb 21 Oct 2025 12:15Traced to CRM duplicate from data migration. Source cleaned up. Will re-sync on next nightly refresh.
