Current to 11 Oct 26Contact record added to CRM not appearing in brain search. Root cause was parsing error from blank required field in source data. Customer fixed data quality issue; refresh picked up record.
Problem: Lauren reported a contact record added last Friday not appearing in search, even though it was in the CRM. Handling: Bethan confirmed newer records were not appearing and asked for examples. Investigation found a parsing error due to a blank required field, which the connector rejected. Customer fixed the data on their end. Watch: Latest refresh picked it up successfully. This shows data quality as a factor in brain freshness.

- created · Lauren Pilkington 13 Mar 2026 09:39Hi, quick one - I've got a consultant saying they can't see some records that were added recently when they search the brain. I've checked and the data's definitely there in our CRM, so I'm wondering if there's a sync issue? Can the brain see what we're adding?
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 13 Mar 2026 11:24Thanks for getting in touch. Just so I've got this right, newer records from your CRM aren't showing up in search even though they're definitely in the system? Can you give me an example of a record that's missing?
- public_reply · Lauren Pilkington 17 Mar 2026 09:00Hi Bethan, yes - we added a contact record last Friday and it hasn't appeared yet. I'm assuming it's just a timing thing and the next refresh will pick it up?
- internal_note · Bethan Lister 17 Mar 2026 09:13Checked the connector logs. The contact record had a parsing error due to a blank required field in the source. Connector rejected it in the last refresh cycle. Customer has now fixed the data on their end. Latest refresh picked it up successfully.
