Dan exported temperature-excursion records to CSV and found two fields (excursion temperature and duration) were blank despite being visible in the brain. Bethan confirmed a bug in CSV export handling and provided a JSON export workaround.

Problem: CSV export function loses temperature and duration field values, even though the data displays correctly in the UI; affects compliance checks and manual record validation.

Handling: Bethan reproduced the bug and identified it as a data serialization issue specific to CSV format. She provided an immediate workaround (JSON export) and logged the bug for engineering in the next release.

Watch: low priority but recurring; shows a gap in export function robustness.

When I export a set of records to CSV, some fields are coming through empty even though the data exists in the brain. I'm exporting temperature-excursion tickets for the past month. The excursion temperature and duration fields are blank in the export but they're showing fine in the interface. Tried exporting again and same issue. Not urgent but it's making manual checks harder.

I've picked this up. Just to confirm, the fields show in the view but not in the export? Can you tell me which export format you're using (CSV, JSON, etc.) and roughly how many records are in the export?

It's CSV. Roughly two hundred records. I've attached the export file. The issue is only in those two fields, everything else exports fine.

Thanks, I've reproduced it. It's a bug in how we handle temperature data in CSV exports. The workaround for now is to use JSON format, which exports the data correctly. I've logged this for our engineering team to fix in the next release. JSON export should give you what you need. Thanks, Bethan
