- created · Johan Berglund 6 Oct 2026 09:23Hi, our e-commerce team would like the ability to filter dashboard results by store location when we run reports. At the moment we have to export everything and filter manually in a spreadsheet, which takes ages. Would this be something the brain could do?
- public_reply · Johan Berglund 6 Oct 2026 09:45We're looking at this specifically for our Nordic stores segment, we run analysis by region and it would save a lot of time if we could slice the data that way within the brain itself.
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 6 Oct 2026 16:22Thanks, Johan. Just so I've got this right: you want to filter your dashboards by the store location field that's already in your data, so you can run region-specific reports without exporting? That's definitely something the brain supports. Have you built a dashboard yet, or would you like me to walk you through the steps?
- public_reply · Johan Berglund 8 Oct 2026 12:10Actually that's really helpful, I hadn't realised we could do that within the dashboards builder. I've had a go this morning and got it working for the Nordic stores report. One question though: can we save this as a template so the other analysts can use it?
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 8 Oct 2026 14:01Yes, you can. Once you've built a dashboard, anyone on your team with the right permissions can duplicate it and use it as a starting point. I'll send you a link to the builder guide so the other analysts can see how to do that. Thanks, Bethan
