Current to 11 Oct 26Helen Varley asked how to create a dashboard filter allowing key-account managers to view orders by individual trust. Bethan Lister provided step-by-step guidance on using the dropdown filter feature tied to the trust field, including default value setup.
Problem: Dashboard showed all trusts mixed together but key-account managers needed to filter to individual trusts for their reports. Handling: Bethan provided clear step-by-step guidance on the dropdown filter feature and explained how to set a default selection. We've set up a dashboard for one of the key-account managers, but it shows all trusts mixed together right now. We sell by trust, so they need to filter to one at a time. What's the best approach?

The simplest is a dropdown filter at the top of the dashboard tied to your trust field: 1. Open the dashboard and click Add filter. 2. Choose Trust as the field. 3. Select Dropdown as the filter type. 4. Save. The key-account manager can click the dropdown to pick their trust and the whole dashboard updates to show just that trust's data. You can set a default trust too so it opens pre-selected. Let me know if you hit any snags. Thanks, Bethan
