Gemma Holt asked how to set up dashboards for multiple teams with permission controls so each team sees only their data. Bethan Lister recommended separate dashboards per team.

Problem: Scaling dashboard setup to new teams rolling out across the organisation. Handling: Bethan recommended separate dashboards per team rather than filtered views for clarity and customisation. Gemma confirmed the approach and asked whether dashboards can be modified later. Ticket resolved. Watch: Signals healthy adoption and scaling; customer moving beyond single-team implementation to multi-team rollout, suggesting value is being realised.

Hi there, we're rolling the brain out to more teams now, and we'd like to set up some dashboards so each team can see their own data. I've seen how the dashboards builder works for our commercial team, but I'm not sure about the best way to set them up when we've got multiple teams using it. Do we need a separate dashboard for each team, or can we build one and then customise it somehow? And what's the best way to manage permissions across teams? Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks, Gemma

Thanks, Gemma. Great to hear you're rolling this out to more teams. Just to check I understand: you want to know how to set up dashboards so each team sees only their own data, is that right? The short answer is that you can build one dashboard with filters and then share it with different teams, setting permissions so each team can only see their own data through those filters. But the better approach, especially at your scale, is to build separate dashboards for each team. It means you can tailor them more, and it's clearer for users what they're looking at. I can walk you through a couple of examples if you want to set up a call. Would that help? Thanks, Bethan

Thanks for that, Bethan. That's really helpful, I think separate dashboards makes more sense for us. Quick question: if we build them now, can we change them later as the teams' needs evolve? Cheers, Gemma
