Current to 14 Oct 26Amara Obi gave Steven Holroyd, Finance Director, renewal notice for the Growth subscription (£44k, 40 users, ends 3 Apr 2026) and flagged a usage dip. Steven wants to know who uses it and what it saves.
Ask: Amara wants a half-hour call to understand who gets value. Steven replied on 7 Jan 2026 that he needs a reason to keep paying for forty seats if fewer people use it.
Customer view: open and not hostile, but value-focused. He asks for the renewal in good time with no surprises on the figures.
Next: build a value case by team and person, and send the renewal early.

- Amara Obi 2 Jan 2026 14:00Hello Steven, Happy new year. I'm writing as your Customer Success Manager to give you proper notice that your Growth subscription is up for renewal. The contract ends on 3 Apr 2026, and the current annual subscription is £44,000 with 40 licensed users. I want to be straight with you: here's what the numbers say. Usage has dipped over the last quarter, and fewer people are logging in than I would like to see. I'd rather you heard that from me now than found it out at renewal. Before we talk about the renewal itself, I'd like to understand who in your teams is getting value and who isn't, and what would make it worth more to you. Sophie is copied as she looks after the commercial side. Could we find half an hour in the next couple of weeks? Best, Amara
- Steven Holroyd 7 Jan 2026 17:02Amara, Thanks for the notice. Appreciate you being upfront about usage. My question is the same as always: who's using it, and what does it save us? If fewer people are on it, I'll need a reason to keep paying for forty seats. Happy to talk. Send me the renewal in good time, with no surprises on the figures. Steven Holroyd
