- Rachel Dunmore 11 Aug 2026 11:19Dear Mr Penrose, I am writing to you in your capacity as joint administrator of Ashwell Mercer Interiors, to lodge the claim of BG-Demo as an unsecured creditor. The claim is for one unpaid invoice, raised in May for the annual Growth subscription. The invoice remains unpaid in our ledger. The gross amount is exactly as shown on the attached invoice, which splits net amount and VAT, and I have not rounded or adjusted it in any way. A copy of the invoice and a statement of the account are attached for your records. The contract with Ashwell Mercer Interiors began on 23 Aug 2024 and the current term ends on 22 Aug 2026. The subscription is for 40 licensed users at £44,000 a year. I would be grateful to know how the administration wishes to treat the contract as the end date approaches. Could you please: 1. Confirm receipt of this claim. 2. Tell me whether a separate statement of claim form is required. 3. Let me know where correspondence about the account should be directed. Kind regards, Rachel Dunmore Finance Manager
- Alistair Penrose 14 Aug 2026 09:12Dear Ms Dunmore, Thank you for your email of 11 Aug 2026. In my capacity as joint administrator, I acknowledge receipt of the notification of a claim by BG-Demo in respect of the unpaid subscription invoice raised in May. I should make clear that this acknowledgement is not an admission of the amount or of its priority. Please submit a statement of claim through the creditor portal, attaching the invoice and the order form under which the subscription was supplied. Claims are adjudicated in due course and in accordance with the statutory order of payment. On the contract itself, the administration does not adopt that contract. I take no personal liability for it, and no pre-administration debt will be paid outside the process. You may therefore treat the subscription as ending on 22 Aug 2026 at the latest, and I would ask that BG-Demo makes no further charges to the company in respect of it. I would also be grateful if you would direct any further correspondence on this matter to my office, quoting the company name. Alistair Penrose, Joint Administrator
