What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Priya Raman sets up a discovery call with Craig Ashwell. He accepts Monday and says his main worry is variations the client has not signed, which he wants shown against what is signed.
Ask: Craig wants to see where each variation stands against what the client has actually signed. He says unsigned variations lead to arguments at final account.
Customer view: he is open and kept an hour clear. Valerie Okon may join for part of it, to be confirmed.
Next: Priya promised a short recap and a conversational call by client, with a summary for Valerie if she cannot attend.

- Priya Raman 7 May 2024 08:32Hi Craig, Thanks for taking the time to reply to my note last week. I'd like to get a discovery call in the diary so we can talk through how your project, commercial and credit teams work today and where the gaps are, and what the brain would need to pull together for you. It would only take about an hour. Would early next week suit, Monday or Tuesday? Happy to make this easy: tell me what works and I'll send the invite. If there's anyone else you'd like on the call, bring them along. The more of the picture we see, the more useful it is for you. Best, Priya Priya Raman Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Craig Ashwell 8 May 2024 10:59Priya, Monday works. Tuesday is no good, I'm out on a project most of the day. I'll be straight with you. What worries me most is variations. We do the work, the client hasn't signed anything, and then we're arguing about it at final account. If your thing can show me where each variation stands against what the client has actually signed, I want to hear it. I'll keep the hour clear. Valerie may join for part of it, I'll confirm nearer the time. Craig
- Priya Raman 13 May 2024 11:21Hi Craig, Just a quick note ahead of today's call. Thanks for the steer on variations, that gives us a good place to start. I'll open with a short recap of what I understood from your email, then hand over to you for what you'd like to see by client. I'll keep it conversational rather than a slide deck, so we can spend the time on your questions. If Valerie can make it for the invoice side, great. If not, I'll make sure she gets a short summary afterwards. Speak shortly, Priya
