What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Daniel Okafor asked Graham Tovey for an early renewal conversation ahead of the contract end on 9 Jan 2026. Graham agreed, but will not sign without a colleague's view and wants the headline first: value, cost and what changes.
Ask: Daniel proposed a call covering use of the brain since January, the 180 licensed users and what the £115k a year subscription covers. Graham replied on 13 Oct 2025, after an apology for the slow reply.
Customer view: Graham treats the renewal as shared with a colleague on his side and will not sign without that person's view. He wants the headline up front: what the company has got, what it costs and anything that changes at renewal.
Next: Daniel is to set the conversation up with that colleague first, then include Graham. Graham asked for a slot via his office, later in the week.

- Daniel Okafor 8 Oct 2025 12:01Dear Graham, Following your note after the quarterly review, I would like to get the renewal conversation into the diary in good time. The contract runs to 9 Jan 2026, and as you asked, I would rather raise it early than late. What I have in mind is a conversation of about the length of a normal call with you, Siân and Tom. I would bring a short summary of how the brain has been used since you joined in January, the licensed users (180 of them) and what the current subscription, at £115,000 a year, covers. Tom will confirm any commercial detail before we put anything in front of you. Could you tell me which part of next week or the week after suits you? If it is easier, your office can reply with a couple of slots and I will fit around them. I know Siân's view matters to you on this, so I will check with her as well. Best wishes, Daniel
- Graham Tovey 13 Oct 2025 16:03Daniel, Thank you for raising it. Apologies for the slow reply, it has been a heavy week. The plan is sensible. I will not sign anything without Siân's view, so please set it up with her first and include me once the two of you have a shape for it. I would like the headline up front: what we have got from it, what it costs, and anything that changes at renewal. Later in the week is better for me than early. Please ask my office for a slot and copy Tom. Graham Tovey
