What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Claire Ackroyd told Marcus Bell that Tolmere's Stockton office is closing and asked how fast Teesside account managers and Tolmere systems can get onto the brain. Marcus replied on 21 Jul 2026 with a seat check and a plan.
Ask: Claire wants Teesside account managers on one view of collections, tickets, calls and invoices, a list of what Tolmere systems need before connecting, and a plan with dates.
Customer view: she flags that licences and possibly connectors are affected, and that she does not own the budget. She wants the shape of the request first.
Next: Marcus will check free seats against Teesside need, asks for a list of Tolmere systems, and offers a call. He will bring in Lewis Kerr if licences or connectors change.

- Claire Ackroyd 20 Jul 2026 13:47Marcus, A quick heads-up so you hear it from me and not second-hand. Tolmere's Stockton office is closing. The back-office work there moves to Wakefield. The Teesside account managers are staying, so their customers don't change hands, but they will be working with the Wakefield team rather than a local office. What I need to understand from your side: - Can the Teesside account managers get onto the brain without a long lead time? I'd like them looking at one view of collections, tickets, calls and invoices for their customers from day one. - What would the Tolmere back-office systems need before they can be connected, and who does that work on each side? - What's the sensible order of work? I want a plan with dates, so tell me what's day one and what's day ninety. I'm conscious this touches our licences and possibly connectors, and I don't own that budget, so I'll bring in the right people once I know what we're asking for. I just need the shape of it first. Let's not lose anyone in the move. Claire
- Marcus Bell 21 Jul 2026 11:35Hi Claire, Thanks for telling me directly, and for the clear picture. Good to know the Teesside account managers are staying, that makes it a lot simpler. On your three questions: - Access: you have sixty licensed users on Growth, so the first step is for me to check how many seats are free today against how many Teesside people need one. I'll bring that back to you with the numbers. - Systems: I need to know what Tolmere runs for collections, tickets and invoicing before I can say what connecting it involves. Could you or a colleague in IT send me a short list? Then I can tell you what's straightforward and what needs a closer look. I won't put a date on anything until I've seen that. - Order of work: I'd suggest we start with the people and the access, then add Tolmere's data sources once they're confirmed. I'll sketch it as a short plan with owners and come back to you. If the picture changes your licences or connectors, I'll bring in Lewis Kerr, who looks after the commercial side on our end, so you get one clear conversation rather than several. Shall we book half an hour this week or next? Happy to jump on a call whenever suits. Thanks, Marcus
