What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Marcus Bell introduced himself to Claire Ackroyd, Harcastle's new Integration Director. She agreed to a fact-finding kickoff, asked for a systems list and an explanation of adding sources, and said she has no budget to commit.
Ask: Claire wants a list of connected systems and owners, and a plain description of adding another source and how long it takes.
Customer view: open but cautious. She is on her first day, frames this as fact-finding and cannot commit budget yet.
Next: Claire is free Thursday or Friday afternoon. Acquired customers appearing in the same view could be a new-team or connector opportunity, but nothing is committed.

- Marcus Bell 21 Apr 2026 13:11Hi Claire, I'm Marcus, the Customer Success Manager at BB-Demo for Harcastle. A colleague of yours mentioned you're joining as Integration Director, so I wanted to introduce myself before you're swamped. A quick bit of background. Harcastle has had the brain on our Growth tier since last April, and it's run inside your own Snowflake account. Your account managers use it to see each customer's collections, missed-collection tickets, calls and invoices in one place. Since you'll be bringing other businesses and their customers into the group, I thought it worth a short kickoff conversation to show you what's already in place and where it could help. I'd suggest: - a walk through of what the brain connects to today - how the 40 licensed users are split across teams - what would need to happen for acquired customers to appear in the same view Shall we book half an hour this week or next? I'm happy to jump on a call, and I'll share my screen so you can see it on real data. Thanks, Marcus
- Claire Ackroyd 22 Apr 2026 10:54Marcus, Thanks for this, and good timing. Today is my first day, so you're near the top of a very long list. Yes to a kickoff. I'd like to start from the integration plan, so what's day one, what's day ninety? If I can see where the brain sits in that, I can work out whose customers these are now and what has to change for them. My concern is that nobody at an acquired business hears about a change from an invoice, so I want your help thinking through the order of things. Two requests before we meet: - a list of the systems the brain is connected to today and who looks after each one - a plain description of what adding another source involves, and roughly how long it takes I can't commit any budget yet. That sits elsewhere and I'm still getting my bearings, so please treat this as a fact-finding session for now. I'm free Thursday or Friday afternoon. Let's not lose anyone in the move. Claire
