Current to 11 Oct 26Johan Berglund asked how fast web shop data arrives, who maintains the connection, and what the proposal will cost. Tom Ashdown gave a proposal total of £129,000 and a target of 18 Mar 2025. Johan will take it to finance.
Ask: Johan wants to know the data freshness, the upkeep burden on a small team, and the rough price. Tom replied that the refresh runs overnight inside the customer's own Snowflake account and that the £129,000 is the whole deal value including implementation, not a yearly figure.
Customer view: Johan found the answer clear and will take the numbers to finance this week.
Next: Hannah Lowe writes up the web shop connection and Tom sends the formal proposal with the split.

- Tom Ashdown 20 Feb 2025 11:01Hi both, Thanks for your time this morning. Good to see the questions you came with, especially the one about joining web shop behaviour with what customer service hears in tickets. As promised, here's where we landed: - Hannah will write up the connector list we talked about, including how the web shop data would come in - I'll pull together a proposal for the Enterprise tier, since you want it across the whole company - You'll tell me which store managers should see it next Any questions in the meantime, just shout. Cheers, Tom
- Johan Berglund 20 Feb 2025 12:48Hello Tom, Thanks, the demo was helpful. One thing I would like to understand better before we go further: how quickly does new web shop data show up in the brain, and who on our side has to maintain the connection? We do not have a large team for this. Also, can you tell us roughly what the proposal will come to, so I can start the conversation internally? Kind regards, Johan
- Tom Ashdown 24 Feb 2025 10:21Hi Johan, hi Karin, Sorry for the gap, I wanted to get this right rather than quick. On freshness: the brain refreshes overnight and it's complete before the working day starts. Hannah will put the detail in writing, including what your side would need to look after. In short, not much, because it all runs inside your own Snowflake account. On price: the proposal total is £129,000. That's the whole deal value including the one-off implementation, not a yearly figure, and I'll confirm the split in the formal proposal so there's no confusion. We'd be aiming to have paperwork settled by 18 Mar 2025, but that's a plan, not a pressure. Best, Tom
- Johan Berglund 24 Feb 2025 12:34Tom, Thank you, that is clear. I will take the numbers to our finance team this week. Please send the formal proposal with the split when it is ready, and Hannah's note on the web shop connection. Karin and I will talk about timing for the store managers. Kind regards, Johan
