What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26After a discovery call on Enterprise, CFO Mats Eklund put the numbers ahead of a demo and asked for the return and a one-off versus recurring breakdown. Tom Ashdown agreed to provide a one-page breakdown.
Ask: Mats wants to know what the brain replaces in reporting effort and what next year costs, as budgets are fixed for this year. He asked for the total value split into one-off and recurring.
Customer view: guarded. The £129,000 Tom cited is an indicative total value from working notes, not a proposal or contracted price.
Next: Tom will send a breakdown checked against the price book and speak to Karin Sjöberg about reconciliation effort. The target close was 18 Mar 2025.

- Tom Ashdown 20 Jan 2025 15:19Hi Karin, hi Mats, Thanks for your time on the call today. Good to hear how you each see it. To recap what I heard: you want customer service, e-commerce and store feedback joined into one view of each customer segment, and you want it in a form the store managers can act on. We talked about the Enterprise tier, as you will want company-wide access and a proper security review. On the numbers, the indicative total value we discussed is £129,000. I'm saying that from the working notes, so I will confirm the exact figures in the proposal before anything is final. We are aiming to wrap up by 18 March 2025, which leaves room for a demo on your own data and the security work. No drama if that moves. Next step: let's get something in the diary for the demo. Could you each send me a couple of dates? Cheers, Tom
- Mats Eklund 22 Jan 2025 08:50Tom, Thank you for the summary. Before a demo, I need the numbers first. What is the return? I would like to see what the brain replaces in our current reporting effort, and what the cost looks like next year, not only the first one. Our store investment plan and the e-commerce budget are fixed for this year, so I need to know where this would sit. Please send me the breakdown of the total value, including what is one-off and what recurs. Mats Eklund, CFO
- Tom Ashdown 23 Jan 2025 12:25Hi Mats, hi Karin, Fair questions, Mats, and thanks for being straight. I'll put together a one-page breakdown that separates the one-off implementation from the annual subscription, and shows what the second year looks like. I want to check it against our price book rather than quote it from memory, so leave that with me and you will have it before the demo. Karin, it would help to have your view on which teams spend the most time reconciling customer data by hand today. That gives Mats something concrete to set the return against. Happy to do a quick call with you on that first. Cheers, Tom
