What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Final QBR deck presented by Daniel Okafor on 1 Jul 2025 for an Enterprise subscription. It reports 180 licensed users, roughly forty-five active, no overdue invoices, and a term ending 9 Jan 2026 that needs a renewal conversation.
What it is: a customer-facing quarterly business review from BB-Demo's Customer Success Manager, Daniel Okafor, dated 1 Jul 2025 and marked Final. It is not a contract and sets no service terms.
Claims: it states "Contracted annual recurring revenue" of £115k, 180 licensed users, a customer start of 10 Jan 2025 and a term end of 9 Jan 2026. Active use is described as up by almost three quarters on the previous quarter.
Not settled: the deck does not break usage down by team or person, so key-person reliance is unchecked. It gives no evidence of how the renewal ended.
Stale: the term end it cites has passed. Its figures are a mid-2025 snapshot, and the executed order form and accounting records should be checked for the current position.

Where we are
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Customer since | Friday 10 January 2025 |
| Tier | Enterprise |
| Contracted annual recurring revenue | £115k |
| Licensed users | 180 |
| Current term ends | 9 January 2026 |
| Invoices overdue | None |
Brimscombe Energy bought the company brain so that the key-account, collections and complaints teams can see each business customer's sites, contracts, calls and bills together, rather than reconciling them by hand across systems. This review covers how that is going since the start of the subscription.
Usage
Read the whole document (5,337 characters)
| Measure | Position |
|---|---|
| Licensed users | 180 |
| Average active users over the last thirty days | roughly forty-five |
| Change in active users against the previous quarter | up by almost three quarters |
What this tells us
- Active use has grown strongly quarter on quarter. That is the pattern we hope to see once the teams have settled into asking the brain rather than going back to the individual systems.
- Active users are still well below the number of licences. That is headroom, not a problem: there is a large group of colleagues who have access and are not yet using it.
- The growth is a good sign for the renewal, because it shows the brain is becoming part of daily work for the teams who adopted it first.
What this review does not show
This deck does not break usage down by team or by person, so we cannot yet say whether a small group is asking most of the questions. We will look at that before the next review, because a heavy reliance on a few people is a risk we would want to spread.
Value
The three teams were chosen because each of them has to pull together the same customer picture from several places:
- Key accounts need to see a business customer's sites, contract position and recent conversations before they speak to them.
- Collections need the billing history alongside the calls and emails, so a conversation about a late payment starts from the facts.
- Complaints need the full history of a customer in one place so they do not have to ask the customer to repeat themselves.
The rise in active users suggests these teams are finding the combined view useful. We would like to put their own words and examples into the next review, so the value case is described by the people doing the work rather than by us. Daniel will ask the team leads for one or two concrete examples each.
Support and service
| Measure | Last thirty days |
|---|---|
| Tickets raised | six |
| Of which high priority | one |
| Overdue invoices | none |
- Six tickets from a growing user base is a healthy level. It reads as people getting on with using the brain and asking when something is unclear, not as a service under strain.
- The single high-priority ticket has been handled under the Enterprise first-response level. We will confirm in writing, at the next check-in, that its cause is understood and closed.
- Payments are up to date, with nothing overdue.
Risks and watch points
- Adoption spread. Growth in active users is encouraging, but the gap to 180 licences means some teams may still be working around the brain.
- Key-person reliance. We have not yet checked how concentrated the questions are. This is a standing item for the next review.
- Renewal timing. The current term ends on 9 January 2026. The renewal conversation needs to be well under way before then, with the renewal notice sent in good time ahead of the end date.
Plan and next steps
| Action | Owner | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Break down usage by team and by person, and share it with the business | Daniel Okafor | Before the next review |
| Collect examples of value from the key-account, collections and complaints leads | Daniel Okafor | Over the coming weeks |
| Confirm the high-priority ticket is understood and closed | Daniel Okafor | At the next check-in |
| Review the commercial position for the renewal, including whether usage supports any change to the subscription | Tom Ashdown | Ahead of the renewal notice |
| Open the renewal conversation with Brimscombe Energy | Daniel Okafor with Tom Ashdown | Well before 9 January 2026 |
Summary
- Brimscombe Energy has been a customer since 10 January 2025 on an Enterprise subscription worth £115k a year.
- Active use is growing strongly and payments are on time.
- Support volume is modest and in line with a healthy, growing user base.
- The main job for the coming months is to widen adoption across the 180 licensed users and prepare the renewal before the term ends on 9 January 2026.
Just to close the loop: Daniel will come back to the team with the usage breakdown and the examples of value as soon as they are ready.
Best wishes, Daniel
