What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Internal draft by Tom Ashdown, dated 16 Oct 2025, proposing a further annual Growth term for 50 licensed users at £48k per year, the same as the current contracted figure. No discount proposed. Not yet shared with the customer.
What it is: an internal draft renewal proposal, marked "Draft for internal review" and "Not yet shared with the customer". The current term is stated to end on 27 Dec 2025.
Commits: nothing binding. It proposes a Growth renewal at £48k annual price, "No discount is proposed", billing "annual in advance on standard payment terms".
Unusual: the price is flat. The proposal does not mention the v2 list price change that applies at a first renewal after 1 Jul 2026, and no price-change reasoning appears in the text.
Not settled: the price is unconfirmed with finance, the high priority ticket outcome is unchecked, the recipient at the customer is not agreed, and any upsell is undecided. The text also says the evidence does not show the customer's plans for next year. As a draft dated October 2025 it is a stale open item, not executed paper.

Body
Pentreath Cold Chain - Renewal Proposal v1
Draft for internal review. Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo, on 16 Oct 2025. Not yet shared with the customer.
1. Purpose
Pentreath Cold Chain has been a BG-Demo customer since 28 Dec 2023. The current term ends on 27 Dec 2025. This paper sets out a proposal to renew the Growth subscription for a further year, so that the account managers at Pentreath keep one view of each client's temperature-excursion tickets, orders and contract reviews.

3. Health summary
Read the whole document (2,455 characters)
- Usage: active users are up on the prior quarter. The licensed allowance is well above the number of people logging in each month, so there is headroom rather than pressure on seats.
- Support: a couple of tickets in the last month, one of them high priority. Nothing here suggests a lasting problem, but Daniel should confirm how the high priority ticket was closed before we send anything out.
- Payments: invoices are paid on time.
Overall the account looks steady. There is no sign of a value question or a competitor, and the evidence does not show anything either way on the customer's plans for next year.
4. Proposed renewal
| Line | Detail | Annual price |
|---|---|---|
| Growth subscription | Renewal for a further annual term, 50 licensed users | £48k |
| Total | £48k |
The proposed annual price is the same as the current contracted annual figure of £48k. No discount is proposed. Billing stays annual in advance on standard payment terms, as today.
5. Open points
- Tom to confirm the renewal price with finance before this goes to the customer.
- Daniel to check the high priority ticket and whether anything should be mentioned in the cover note.
- Decide whether to raise extra users or a new team at the same conversation, given the spare headroom.
- Agree who at Pentreath receives the proposal.
6. Next steps
- Review this draft internally this week.
- Tom to get something in the diary with the customer's main contact.
- Issue the final proposal and order form well ahead of 27 Dec 2025.
