What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Renewal proposal from Tom Ashdown dated 23 Oct 2024 for the Growth tier, 50 users, annual price £48k billed annually in advance. It is a proposal, not an executed order form, and the current term it addresses ended on 27 Dec 2024.
What it is: A renewal proposal prepared by Tom Ashdown for Pentreath Cold Chain, marked "Final" and dated 23 Oct 2024. It recommends renewing Growth for twelve months on the same scope.
Commits: It sets "Annual price" at £48k and "Annual, in advance" billing, and says the order form should be signed "Before 27 Dec 2024". The figure is the subscription alone, with no implementation fee.
Unusual: The proposal quotes the current contracted figure as £43k, so the proposed price is higher. It gives no discount and no service-level figures; it only says the Growth service levels stay the same.
Not settled: A proposal is an open item, not contract. The document does not show whether an order form was issued or signed, or what price was agreed. Any current price needs the executed order form.

Body
Pentreath Cold Chain - Renewal Proposal
Prepared for: Pentreath Cold Chain, Bristol Prepared by: Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo Customer Success Manager: Daniel Okafor Date: Wednesday 23 October 2024 Status: Final
1. Where we are
Pentreath Cold Chain joined BB-Demo on 28 Dec 2023 on the Growth tier. The current term ends on 27 Dec 2024, and this proposal sets out what we recommend for the next twelve months.
The reason for the original purchase was simple: your account managers wanted to see each client's temperature-excursion tickets, orders and contract reviews in one place, across Avonmouth and the two satellite depots, instead of chasing three systems. This proposal looks at how far that has been achieved and what continuing looks like.
2. How the first year has gone
Read the whole document (3,492 characters)
- Adoption is growing. The average number of people active in the brain over the last thirty days is around a dozen, and that is up by roughly a fifth on the previous quarter.
- The service has been quiet. There have been no support tickets in the last thirty days, and none at high priority.
- Commercials are clean. There are no overdue invoices on the account.
The licence covers 50 users, so there is plenty of room for more of your account managers, depot leads and contract reviewers to come on board without any change to the plan.
3. What we propose
We propose renewing on the Growth tier for a further twelve months on the same scope, with the same connected systems and the same service levels you have today.
| Item | Current term | Proposed renewal term |
|---|---|---|
| Tier | Growth | Growth |
| Licensed users | 50 | 50 |
| Annual recurring revenue (contracted) | £43k | n/a |
| Annual price | n/a | £48k |
| Deal type | New business | Renewal |
| Billing | Annual, in advance | Annual, in advance |
The annual price of £48k is the total value of the renewal. There is no implementation fee on a renewal, so the figure is the subscription alone.
4. What stays the same
- The Growth feature set, including pages, chat, search and the dashboards builder.
- Quarterly business reviews with Daniel, covering usage, value and any open questions.
- The Growth service levels for availability, first response on priority-one issues and the nightly refresh.
- Your data staying inside your own Snowflake account.
5. Options we can talk through
Nothing here is required for the renewal, but given the growth in usage you may want to discuss:
- Extra users, if more teams want access beyond the current allowance.
- Additional connectors, if there are further systems you would like the brain to read.
- Training for new joiners, including an on-site training day if that would help.
If any of these matter, tell us and we will price them separately so the core renewal stays straightforward.
6. Next steps
| Step | Owner | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Review this proposal internally | Pentreath Cold Chain | Over the next couple of weeks |
| Walk through usage and answer questions | Daniel Okafor | At the next quarterly review |
| Issue the renewal order form | Tom Ashdown | Once the proposal is agreed |
| Order form signed ahead of term end | Both parties | Before 27 Dec 2024 |
If you would like to talk anything through before then, Tom is on tom.ashdown@bb-demo.example and Daniel is your first port of call for day-to-day questions.
Thanks for a good first year.
Tom Ashdown Account Executive, BB-Demo
