What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Draft proposal from Tom Ashdown dated Thu 7 May 2026 for the Enterprise tier. Subscription £125k annual in advance; total deal value £155k including one-off implementation. Not contracted; no availability or P1 response figures are stated.
What it is: a first-draft proposal marked "Draft for discussion. Not yet contracted." It sets out an Enterprise company brain for a broker firm view across intermediary distribution and member services.
Commits: nothing binding. Pricing is stated as "£155k is the total value of the deal, including the one-off implementation fee. The recurring annual subscription is £125k." Payment is thirty days from invoice, with quarterly billing on request.
Unusual: the implementation fee is not shown separately, and the £155k total must not be read as annual. No discount is applied.
Not settled: the list of systems, security review attendees, day-to-day lead, billing frequency and go-live date are all open points. Service levels are described only as "the Enterprise service levels", with no figures. An executed order form would supersede this draft.

Body
Corstorphine Building Society - Proposal v1
Draft for discussion. Not yet contracted.
Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo Date: Thursday 7 May 2026 Prepared for: Corstorphine Building Society, Edinburgh
Context
Corstorphine Building Society is a Scottish mutual, regulated by the PRA and the FCA, with branches across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife. From our conversations so far, we understand that intermediary distribution and member services each hold part of the picture of every mortgage broker firm you work with, and that nobody can easily see the whole of it in one place.
That means time spent reconciling systems by hand, and some uncertainty about which version of a broker relationship is the right one. You asked us to look at the Enterprise tier as the way to give both teams one view of each broker firm.
This proposal sets out what we would build, how it would be run, and what it would cost. It is a first draft, and we expect it to change as we hear from your teams.
What we are proposing
Read the whole document (5,567 characters)
BB-Demo would put the company brain in place for the Society: one AI-queryable layer over the systems your teams already use, built and run inside your own Snowflake account. Your data stays in your environment.
The first use case is the broker firm view:
- one record for each mortgage broker firm, joining what intermediary distribution knows with what member services knows
- questions asked in plain English, such as which broker firms have seen a change in activity, or what has been raised with member services about a given firm
- pages, chat and search over that joined view, so staff stop switching between systems to piece it together
We would start with the sources that matter most to that view and add more once the first is live and trusted. The exact list of systems to connect is an open point for the discovery work.
Scope: Enterprise tier
Enterprise is designed for company-wide and regulated buyers. For the Society it would include:
- the Enterprise user allowance and connector allowance, which we expect to cover both teams with room to add others later
- pages, chat and search, plus the dashboards builder
- SSO and SCIM, so access follows your existing identity set-up
- an executive sponsor from BB-Demo
- regular business reviews with your named contacts
- the Enterprise service levels for availability, first response on priority issues, and nightly data freshness
As a regulated organisation you will want a proper security review. Support for that review is part of the Enterprise implementation, and we would expect it to run alongside the build rather than hold it up.
Delivery approach
| Phase | What happens | Who is involved |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery | Confirm sources, owners and the broker firm questions that matter most | Intermediary distribution, member services, your IT team, Tom Ashdown |
| Security review | Answer your questionnaire and walk your team through how the brain runs inside your Snowflake account | Your information security and risk contacts, BB-Demo |
| Build | Connect the agreed sources, build the joined broker firm view, test against real examples | Your IT team, BB-Demo delivery |
| Launch | Train both teams, agree who asks what, and confirm the first review date | Intermediary distribution, member services, BB-Demo |
The implementation is a fixed-fee piece of work with a defined end date, which we will confirm in the order form. Any connectors we commit to will carry a go-live commitment in days, also set out in the order form.
Pricing
| Item | Basis | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Enterprise subscription | Annual, billed in advance | £125k |
| Implementation | One-off, fixed fee | Included in the deal total below |
| Total deal value | Subscription for the first year plus one-off implementation | £155k |
To be clear about how to read this: £155k is the total value of the deal, including the one-off implementation fee. The recurring annual subscription is £125k.
Payment terms are the standard thirty days from invoice. Quarterly billing is available on request. No discount is applied in this draft. I will confirm every figure above when we move to an order form, so please treat the numbers as for discussion until then.
What the Society would get from this
- a single, trusted view of each mortgage broker firm for intermediary distribution and member services
- less time reconciling systems and fewer questions answered from memory
- a clear way to see what the brain is worth, through questions asked, active users and the dashboards your teams build
- room to add further teams, users and connectors later without a change of platform
Open points
- the final list of systems to connect and who owns each one
- the people from your side who will sit on the security review
- who will be the day-to-day lead for the project at the Society
- whether you want quarterly or annual billing
- the target date for go-live, which depends on when the security review can begin
Next steps
- Tom to walk through this draft with intermediary distribution and member services and take their comments
- agree the discovery sessions and who attends
- BB-Demo to send the security documentation ahead of the review
- revise this proposal and, once you are comfortable, move to an order form under our standard MSA
If anything here does not match how you see it, tell me and I will change it. Leave that with me.
Best, Tom
