What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26In the second demo, Amanda Holt said she was ready to move forward. Sophie Ling said she would send the order form that day, quoting fifty-six thousand all-in with an eight-week implementation. The call does not show it was signed.
What happened: This was the second demo on 7 May 2025, with Anya Petrova covering the technical side. She described likely three connectors into the customer's own Snowflake account and an eight-week build.
Customer view: Amanda asked about data freshness and what happens if a connector breaks, then said she was ready to move forward. Adele Pickup asked who sees the data and said she could be hands-on during the build.
Commercial: Sophie said Mohammed was ready to move once Amanda approved scope and timeline. The figure Sophie quoted for the order form was fifty-six thousand all-in; the call does not show it was signed.
Watch: Adele is build contact, day-to-day admin and first escalation for connector issues. That is a key-person dependency on a Growth deployment.

Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Sophie Ling to send Amanda Holt the order form by end of day on 7 May 2025.
- Adele Pickup to review the order form and raise any questions with Sophie.
- Kick off implementation within a week of signature, with Adele as build contact.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- The call does not show the order form was signed, so the deal is still open.
- Adele Pickup is the single point of contact for build, administration and first escalation.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Sophie Ling raised an Enterprise upgrade if the trust adds more schools and needs more intensive support.
- The page builder was shown as a way for school leaders to build their own dashboards, which can deepen adoption.
Transcript
- Sophie Ling NoneHi Amanda, and hi Adele, nice to meet you. So this is the second demo. You've seen the high-level capabilities, and now I wanted Anya to walk through the technical side, how we'd actually set up your specific systems. Anya?
- Anya Petrova NoneHi both. So Amanda, Adele, what I'm going to cover is how we'd build connectors for your specific systems. You mentioned you've got multiple student systems across the schools. Let me ask, which ones are you using?
- Amanda Holt NoneIt's a mix. Some of the primaries use one system, the secondaries use another. We've also got one private school that uses a third system.
- Anya Petrova NoneOK. And are those cloud-based or on-premises?
- Adele Pickup NoneCloud-based mostly. The private school's is on-prem but they've got API access.
- Anya Petrova NoneThat makes it easier. So here's what we'd do: we'd build a connector for each student system, likely three connectors. Each connector sits between your system and the brain. It pulls data nightly, transforms it into a standard format, and indexes it so you can search it.
- Anya Petrova NoneLet me show you the technical architecture. Your systems sit over here: student data, finance, HR. The brain sits in your Snowflake account, which you control. Our connectors live in between, pulling data and indexing it.
- Adele Pickup NoneSo the data actually sits in our Snowflake?
- Anya Petrova NoneYes. The brain runs inside your Snowflake account. The connectors are ours, but your data is yours, in your account. You control who can access it.
- Adele Pickup NoneAnd you never see the data?
- Anya Petrova NoneWe see it in transit to index it, but we don't store it anywhere. It lives in your Snowflake.
- Amanda Holt NoneGood to know. What about data freshness?
- Anya Petrova NoneNightly refresh, by seven in the morning. So every morning your data's updated. If one of your source systems is down, we'll retry. If it stays down, we'll alert you.
- Amanda Holt NoneAnd what if a connector breaks?
- Anya Petrova NoneWe monitor all connectors. If one fails: say, your student system changes its API: we catch it, we diagnose, and we fix it. You'll get an alert. With Growth, you've got one-hour response for urgent issues and four-hour resolution target.
- Adele Pickup NoneSo you're actively monitoring?
- Anya Petrova NoneYes. Automated monitoring and a named support engineer during business hours.
- Sophie Ling NoneThat's the Growth tier support. And if you ever need more, maybe you add more schools and you get busier, you can upgrade to Enterprise and get more intensive support options.
- Adele Pickup NoneWhat's the implementation on our end?
- Anya Petrova NoneWeek one, we'd sit with you and your IT team. We'd ask for credentials to each system, we'd test API access, we'd design the connectors. You'd tell us what data matters to you: do you need GCSE results, absence data, staff roles, and we'd tune the connectors accordingly.
- Adele Pickup NoneAnd that's week one?
- Anya Petrova NoneThat's week one. Weeks two through six, we're building. We're testing against your data, making sure the indexing is right, that searches return what you'd expect. Week seven you're testing in your own brain, running queries, validating answers. Week eight we cut over and you're live.
- Amanda Holt NoneAnd you need our data manager, Adele, to be hands-on?
- Anya Petrova NoneCritical, to be honest. Adele would be the main point of contact from your side during build. She'd validate schemas, test data quality, sign off on the connectors. She's the person who knows your data.
- Adele Pickup NoneI can do that. I'm fairly technical.
- Anya Petrova NoneGood. That makes it much smoother. Now, once you're live, Adele would manage users and permissions. If Amanda's team needs a new query, Adele or Amanda would ask the brain. If there's a connector issue, Adele's the first escalation.
- Sophie Ling NoneSo Adele's your admin day-to-day, and Amanda's the champion driving adoption.
- Amanda Holt NoneThat makes sense.
- Anya Petrova NoneOne more thing, let me show you the dashboard. This is what your data looks like once it's indexed. These are connectors we're running for another education trust. You can see student records, financial transactions, staff records, all indexed and searchable. That's what you'd have by week eight.
- Adele Pickup NoneAnd staff can build their own dashboards on top of that?
- Anya Petrova NoneYes. You get the page builder. Teachers or school leaders could drag together a dashboard of their school's data without needing technical help. It's one of the most popular features.
- Adele Pickup NoneThat's really useful.
- Sophie Ling NoneAny other questions before we move to the next steps?
- Amanda Holt NoneI think we're good. Adele, do you have anything?
- Adele Pickup NoneI'm happy. When would you start implementation if we sign?
- Sophie Ling NoneOnce we've got a signed order form, we'd kick off within a week. So if you signed next week, we'd probably start the following week.
- Amanda Holt NoneAnd Mohammed's clear on the numbers?
- Sophie Ling NoneI checked with him yesterday. He's ready to move. He just needs your thumbs-up on the scope and timeline, and the order form can be signed.
- Amanda Holt NoneOK. I'm ready to move forward.
- Sophie Ling NoneExcellent. I'll get the order form to you by end of day. It'll have all the terms: fifty-six thousand all-in, eight-week implementation, the works. Adele, once you've reviewed, just let me know if you've got questions.
- Adele Pickup NoneWill do.
- Sophie Ling NoneBrilliant. You've got my number. Sign it when you're ready and we'll kick off. Thanks so much, both.
- Amanda Holt NoneCheers, Sophie.
