What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Demo of the brain to Els Van Damme and Jens Maes on 7 Jan 2026. Both reacted well. Matteo Ricci quoted Starter at £22k a year plus £6,000 implementation and aimed for signing by mid-February.
What happened: Hannah Lowe demonstrated the brain on sample accountancy data, covering cross-system questions, client search and nightly refresh. Matteo then quoted Starter and agreed to send a proposal.
Customer view: Els said they were impressed and called the price fair. Jens asked practical questions about data quality, refresh timing and customising dashboards.
Commercial: Starter was quoted at £22k a year plus £6,000 implementation, with 15 users and 4 connectors, over about four weeks. Matteo wanted signing by mid-February.
Watch: Els asked about same-day updates and was told Starter refreshes nightly. Jens asked about customising dashboards and was told BB-Demo builds them on Starter.

Transcript
- Matteo Ricci NoneEls, Jens, thanks for joining. I've got Hannah with me today, she's our Solutions Engineer and will walk you through the product. Hannah, over to you.
- Hannah Lowe NoneHi both. What I'm going to show you today is the brain working on data similar to yours: accountancy client information, queries, fees, deadlines. This isn't your real data, but it'll give you a good sense of what you'd actually see once we're live. Sound OK?
- Els Van Damme NoneYeah, that's helpful.
- Hannah Lowe NoneSo here's the main interface. You log in and you see a dashboard showing your recent clients, any outstanding queries, deadlines coming up. From here, you can search for a specific client, or you can ask the brain a question. Let me show you. I'm going to ask 'show me clients with overdue fees'.
- Jens Maes NoneAnd that's pulling from multiple systems?
- Hannah Lowe NoneYes. In your case, it would pull from your CRM, your accounting system, and any emails you've tagged. But you only ask one question. No jumping between systems.
- Els Van Damme NoneHow quickly does that come back?
- Hannah Lowe NoneLess than a second. You ask and you get the result. Let me show you another example. This time I'm searching for a specific client. I'll just type the name and the brain shows me everything about them: their account status, outstanding work, recent communications, the lot.
- Jens Maes NoneAnd if the data is wrong in one of our systems? Does the brain show that?
- Hannah Lowe NoneYes. The brain shows what's in your systems. So if your CRM says something different from the accounting system, you'll see both. It's actually quite useful because it highlights gaps in your data.
- Matteo Ricci NoneCan I jump in on the technical side? Jens, one thing you might be wondering is how we connect to your systems. We'll need a service account with read access to your CRM and accounting software. Nothing gets written, nothing leaves your Snowflake. Everything stays inside your own environment.
- Jens Maes NoneThat's good to hear. How often does the data refresh?
- Hannah Lowe NoneEvery night. The refresh completes by 07:00 your time on business days. So any changes from the previous day: new clients, updated fees, closed queries, they're all there by morning.
- Els Van Damme NoneAnd what if something's urgent and we need data updated during the day?
- Hannah Lowe NoneWith Starter, the refresh is nightly. But you can always ask the brain to pull fresh data from a specific system if you need to, it just takes a moment.
- Jens Maes NoneGot it. And you mentioned dashboards earlier. Can we customise those?
- Hannah Lowe NoneWith Starter, we build the dashboards for you based on your needs. We set up some common ones for client summaries, fee tracking, deadline views. But if you want something different, you just ask and we can build it.
- Matteo Ricci NoneThat's where the CSM comes in. Once you're live, your CSM reviews usage every quarter and we talk about what's working and what you might need. But for now, shall we talk about next steps?
- Els Van Damme NoneYeah, I think we're impressed. What happens now?
- Matteo Ricci NoneI'll send you a proposal. It'll outline the pricing, 22000 a year for the subscription, plus 6000 for implementation, and the timeline. We'd be looking at about four weeks to get you live. If you're happy with that, you sign the order form and we get started.
- Jens Maes NoneAnd that 22000, what does that include?
- Matteo Ricci NoneThat's Starter tier. You get up to 15 users, 4 connectors to your systems, the dashboard and search interface, nightly data refresh, and six-monthly check-ins with your CSM. If you need more users or connectors later, we can add those.
- Els Van Damme NoneThat sounds fair. When can we see the proposal?
- Matteo Ricci NoneI'll send it over tomorrow. Have a look and let me know if you have questions. We'd want to move to signing by mid-February so we can get you live not long after.
- Jens Maes NoneThat works for us.
- Matteo Ricci NoneBrilliant. I'll be in touch tomorrow with the proposal. Thanks both.
