What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Onboarding call on 27 Mar 2026. Salesforce, the helpdesk and the accounting system are feeding Snowflake. The call recorder is still pending with the vendor, and training follows once it is in and validated.
What happened: Hamza Akhtar demonstrated three of four connectors live and validated. The accounting system needed duplicate invoice records suppressed, which he flagged and cleaned in Snowflake.
Customer view: Angela Kowalski and Brittany Hayes asked about the duplicates, record volumes and search speed. They accepted the answers and agreed the training timing.
Commercial: The call recorder is the only blocker before training of three or four hours across a couple of sessions. Value will show once all four systems are searchable.
Watch: The vendor has promised access next week, but has been slow before. Hamza gave no exact record count for the call recorder data.

Follow-up
Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Customer to tell Hamza Akhtar the moment call recorder access arrives.
- Hamza Akhtar to validate the call recorder data within a day or two of arrival.
- Hamza Akhtar and the customer to book training in early April, three or four hours across a couple of sessions.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The call recorder vendor has not yet delivered access and may slip again.
- Duplicate invoices in the accounting export were suppressed in Snowflake, so the customer should be reassured the source is unaffected.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Once all four systems are searchable, users can find calls, tickets and CRM records in one place, which supports adoption.
Transcript
- Hamza AkhtarRight, let me share my screen and show you what we've built so far. Can you both see?
- Brittany HayesYeah, I can see.
- Hamza AkhtarSo we've got Salesforce synced, the helpdesk is in, and I got the accounting system credentials from your finance team, cheers, Brittany, so I've built that one too. Three of four connectors are now feeding data into your Snowflake. The call recorder's still pending?
- Brittany HayesYeah, they said they're configuring it on their end. Should be ready by next week, they promised.
- Hamza AkhtarOkay, so I've run a validation on the three that are live. Overall looks really clean, Salesforce is mapping nicely, the helpdesk tickets are coming through properly. The accounting system took a bit of tweaking, there were some duplicate records we had to suppress, but that's normal.
- Angela KowalskiDuplicate records?
- Hamza AkhtarYeah, your accounting system was showing some invoices twice for the same customer. I've cleaned that up so the brain doesn't get confused. It shouldn't affect your reporting, but I wanted to flag it to you so you know what I've done.
- Brittany HayesShould we be worried about that?
- Hamza AkhtarNo, it's fine. It's just how some systems export data. I've deduped it in Snowflake so you're working with clean data.
- Angela KowalskiGood. So once the call recorder comes in, we're ready to train?
- Hamza AkhtarPretty much. I'll do a quick validation on that when it arrives, shouldn't take more than a day or two. Then we can schedule training. I'd say early April, early in the second week?
- Brittany HayesThat works for us.
- Hamza AkhtarBrilliant. Once the call recorder data comes in, there's going to be a lot of records. Might take a day or two for the initial sync to complete, but the brain will be able to search across all four systems once that's done. That's really when people will see the value.
- Angela KowalskiHow many records are we talking?
- Hamza AkhtarI don't have exact numbers yet, depends on how much data the call recorder has, but could be hundreds of thousands once we bring that in. The good news is Snowflake handles that easily.
- Brittany HayesWill that slow things down when people are searching?
- Hamza AkhtarShouldn't. Snowflake's designed for this. If anything, having more data means better search results, people can find the calls and tickets and CRM records they're looking for in one place.
- Angela KowalskiOkay, that's good. So we just need the call recorder and then training?
- Hamza AkhtarYeah, basically. I'll push the call recorder vendor if they go quiet, but they said next week. Once it's in and validated, we can book in the training session. Should be three or four hours, probably split across a couple of sessions.
- Brittany HayesSounds good. Anything from us before the next call?
- Hamza AkhtarJust keep an eye out for that call recorder access from the vendor. Let me know the second you get it and I'll jump on it. Otherwise you're good.
- Angela KowalskiWill do. Cheers, Hamza.
- Hamza AkhtarCheers, all. Speak soon.
