What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Demo of Starter on an extract of Clashmore's data. Deirdre Barry is happy and sees the client page as the draw. Aisling Kiely raised data matching, freshness and connectors. Proposal at £25k to follow; terms conversation still needed.
What happened: Anya Petrova showed the client page, chat and search on a real data extract. Cian O'Leary was not on the call.
Customer view: Deirdre said she is happy and that the consultants would use it, adding that the client page is the thing. Aisling accepted the honest answer that client names may not match between systems on day one.
Commercial: Dashboards need Growth, and Lewis Kerr advised against moving up for that alone. A fifth connector would need the add-on, which Aisling wants written down separately.
Watch: Refresh is complete by 07:00 on business days, and Aisling wondered if consultants will want invoices more current. Lewis will send the Starter proposal at £25k exclusive of VAT, and Cian still wants a terms conversation before Thu 4 Sep 2025.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Lewis Kerr sends the Starter proposal and Anya Petrova's Snowflake access note the same day.
- Deirdre Barry gets Cian to book a terms conversation with Lewis.
- Lewis sends the additional connectors add-on as a separate line.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Cian O'Leary was absent and still needs a terms conversation before signing.
- Client names that do not match between the recruitment and accounting systems may cause early trouble.
- Overnight refresh may feel too slow if consultants want invoices more current.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Deirdre Barry will pitch the client page to Cian, and the quiet-client view should interest him.
- A fifth connector or the dashboards builder could become a later add-on or Growth conversation if usage shows a need.
Transcript
- Lewis Kerr NoneHello, hello. Can everyone hear me? Anya, you're on mute, I think.
- Anya Petrova NoneSorry, there we go. Good afternoon, all.
- Deirdre Barry NoneAfternoon! Aisling's here with me, she's just getting her screen up. Aisling, say hi.
- Aisling Kiely NoneHi, everyone. Can you see me? Hmm, I think my camera's a bit dark.
- Lewis Kerr NoneWe can see you fine. Right, let me confirm what I understand we're doing. This is the demo for Starter, on your own data, and the decision date I'm working to is still Thursday 4 September 2025. Does that hold?
- Deirdre Barry NoneIt does. Cian's not on today, he said to give him the headline after. Quick one before we start though, one of the consultants wants to know if she can see a client's invoices without leaving the page for the roles.
- Anya Petrova NoneGood, that's the first thing I'll show you, so let's go straight to it. I'm sharing my screen now. Can you see a client page?
- Deirdre Barry NoneWe can. Oh, that's one of ours, isn't it? That's a real client.
- Anya Petrova NoneIt is, Aisling gave us an extract of your data so this isn't a mock-up. Across the top you've got the client summary. Underneath, the open roles, the placements made, and here, the invoices and their status, all on the one page.
- Deirdre Barry NoneOh, that's lovely. Can the consultants see that? Like, every one of them?
- Anya Petrova NoneAnyone you give a seat to. Starter is fifteen users, and from what Lewis said you'd be comfortably inside that.
- Lewis Kerr NoneYes, I'd double-check the exact numbers with you, but from our last call you'd be under the number.
- Deirdre Barry NoneGrand, that'd save us hours.
- Anya Petrova NoneNow let me show you the chat. I'll type a question the way a consultant might. Which clients have an overdue invoice and an open role at the moment?
- Anya Petrova NoneSo it comes back with a short list, and each one links to the page behind it, so you can check where the answer came from. That matters, because you don't want a consultant quoting something nobody can trace.
- Aisling Kiely NoneSorry, can I ask where it's getting the overdue part from? Is that from the accounting system directly?
- Anya Petrova NoneYes, from the accounting connector. It's read from there, it doesn't write back. So if the invoice status is wrong in the accounting system, it'll be wrong here too, and that's worth knowing.
- Aisling Kiely NoneRight, that makes sense. We do have some clients where the names don't match between the two systems, to be honest. Will that cause trouble?
- Anya Petrova NoneIt can. That's the kind of thing we'd go through together in the first weeks, matching names so each client is one record. I wouldn't promise it's seamless on day one, but it's a known job and you'd have us alongside.
- Aisling Kiely NoneOkay, that's honest, thanks. I'd rather know.
- Deirdre Barry NoneCan I try something? Can I ask it about the pharma clients only?
- Anya Petrova NoneGo for it. Tell me what to type and I'll type it.
- Deirdre Barry NoneUm, which of our pharma clients have we placed someone with in the last year, and what's the latest conversation we had with them?
- Anya Petrova NoneOkay, typing that. Give it a moment. Right, so it's pulled the placements, and the latest email thread against each client. Some of those will be older than you'd like, I can see.
- Deirdre Barry NoneOh, that's a good one. That's a client we haven't spoken to in ages. I'd not have known that.
- Lewis Kerr NoneThat's the sort of thing that tends to land well with managing directors, Deirdre, so maybe worth keeping in mind for Cian.
- Deirdre Barry NoneOh, I will. He loves hearing about a client we've gone quiet on, it fires him up.
- Anya Petrova NoneNext, the search. I'll look for a contract name instead of a client. Say a particular role title across clients. It searches the emails and the notes as well as the records.
- Aisling Kiely NoneAnd the refresh. How fresh is it? Because if a consultant updates a placement in the morning, is it there in the afternoon?
- Anya Petrova NoneGood question. It refreshes overnight, and it's complete by seven in the morning on business days. So it's not live to the minute, it's what happened up to last night.
- Aisling Kiely NoneOkay. I think that's fine for most of it. Maybe the consultants will want the invoices more current, I don't know.
- Deirdre Barry NoneThey'll live with it. As long as it's there in the morning before the first call.
- Lewis Kerr NoneAnd if that turns out not to be enough, we'd want to hear it from you early, rather than find out at the first review.
- Deirdre Barry NoneIs there a way to build a dashboard, like a board for the weekly team meeting? Cian likes a board.
- Anya Petrova NoneThere is a dashboards builder, but it comes with the Growth tier, not Starter. On Starter you have pages, chat and search.
- Lewis Kerr NoneAnd I'll say plainly, I wouldn't suggest moving up for that alone. Let's see how the team uses what's in Starter and revisit it if there's a real need. I'd rather you got value from what you buy.
- Deirdre Barry NoneGrand, that's fair. I'll tell Cian that, he'll appreciate you not pushing.
- Aisling Kiely NoneOne for the setup. How many connectors can we have? I was counting the recruitment system, accounting, email and calendar, and I think there might be a fifth, the shared drive.
- Anya Petrova NoneStarter is four, and that one is a hard limit. So you'd need to choose. My own suggestion would be to start with the recruitment system, accounting and email, because that's what the consultants need most, and hold the fourth for whichever proves most useful.
- Aisling Kiely NoneOkay. And if we wanted five?
- Lewis Kerr NoneThere's an add-on for additional connectors, in blocks of five. I'd send that as a separate line so you can see the cost, rather than quoting from memory now.
- Aisling Kiely NoneFine. I'd just like to see it written down.
- Deirdre Barry NoneLewis, what about the part where it runs in our own Snowflake? Aisling, did you want to ask about that?
- Aisling Kiely NoneYes. So who sets up access in our Snowflake account? Is that me, or you?
- Anya Petrova NoneIt's built and run inside your account, so you'd grant the access, and we'd walk you through what's needed in the implementation. You stay in control of it. I can send you a short note on exactly what we'd ask for, so you can check it with your own people.
- Aisling Kiely NoneYes please, that'd help. I'll need to run it past a colleague in IT.
- Lewis Kerr NoneSensible. Anya, if you can send that over today, that keeps us on track for the date.
- Anya Petrova NoneWill do. I'll include the connector list for Starter as well.
- Deirdre Barry NoneSo from my side, I'm happy. I think the consultants would use it. Honestly the client page is the thing. I'll say that to Cian.
- Lewis Kerr NoneGood. Then from me, I'll send the proposal for Starter with the total deal of £24,525, exclusive of VAT, which includes the one-off implementation. And Deirdre, I know Cian wants a conversation about terms, so let's find a time for that once he's looked at it.
- Deirdre Barry NoneHe will, he never signs without one. I'll get him to book it with you. Thursday 4 September 2025 is still the target.
- Lewis Kerr NonePerfect. I'll send that over today, along with Anya's note.
- Aisling Kiely NoneThanks, both. That was clearer than I expected.
- Deirdre Barry NoneThanks a million, all of you.
- Anya Petrova NoneThanks, everyone. Speak soon.
