What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Demo held on 26 Aug 2025 with Femke van Gestel and Bas Kuijpers. Orders and complaints were real data, credit was mocked. Femke will take the written proposal to the person who signs the budget.
What happened: Hannah Lowe loaded orders and complaints from Brinkerhof's samples and mocked the credit queries. She built a complaints by month by region dashboard live.
Customer view: Bas said a feed once broke for three weeks unnoticed, and the connector admin view answered that. Femke's real question was whether account managers open it every day.
Commercial: Tom Ashdown described fifty-six thousand pounds as the total Growth deal value in the system, not the annual price. A written proposal with the breakdown is to follow.
Watch: the credit system is older and export-only. Hannah would not promise a direct connection before seeing the format.

Transcript
- Tom Ashdown NoneMorning, Femke. Morning, Bas. Can you hear us all right? Hannah's with me as well.
- Femke van Gestel NoneGood morning. Yes, clear. Bas is just joining, he is in the other room with the second screen.
- Bas Kuijpers NoneHello, I am here. Sorry, the link opened on the wrong laptop.
- Tom Ashdown NoneNo drama at all. How's your week been so far? Busy, I'd guess, being Tuesday.
- Femke van Gestel NoneBusy, yes. Two delivery complaints from installers already this morning. So this is a good day to look at the tool. First, last time's actions. Bas, you shared the sample exports?
- Bas Kuijpers NoneYes. I sent the order extract and the complaints extract to Hannah last week. The credit queries are in a separate system, so that part is a bit rough.
- Hannah Lowe NoneThanks, Bas, that's right, I have them. To be precise, I loaded the orders and the complaints for the demo today, and I've mocked the credit queries from the sample you gave me. So you'll see the shape of it, but I'll flag where it's thin. Is there anything you most need to know before I share my screen?
- Femke van Gestel NoneWhat is the plan for the account managers? Do they open one page and see an installer, with everything? That is the whole question. Let's make it practical.
- Hannah Lowe NoneThe short answer is yes. The longer answer is that I'll show you exactly that. Give me a second, sharing now. Can you see it?
- Femke van Gestel NoneI see it. A search box and some pages.
- Hannah Lowe NoneRight. This is the page for one installer from your sample data. Orders on the left, grouped by month, then the delivery complaints, with dates and what was resolved, and underneath the credit queries. Everything on this page is built from your own sources, running inside your own Snowflake account.
- Bas Kuijpers NoneSo the data does not leave our environment. That was the question from our IT side.
- Hannah Lowe NoneCorrect. Nothing is copied out to us. I'll put that in writing for you, with a diagram, so your IT team can read it themselves rather than rely on my word.
- Femke van Gestel NoneGood. Now ask it something. What would an account manager ask?
- Hannah Lowe NoneLet's try, which installers have had more than one delivery complaint recently and have also reduced their orders? Typing it in plain language, as they would.
- Tom Ashdown NoneWhile it thinks, Femke, that's the sort of thing I'd expect your people to ask on a Monday morning, before they start ringing round.
- Femke van Gestel NoneYes. Exactly that. They now do it in spreadsheets, and the spreadsheet is old by Tuesday.
- Hannah Lowe NoneHere we are. Three installers in the sample match, and each answer links back to the underlying orders and complaints, so you can check it and not just trust it. That's deliberate.
- Bas Kuijpers NoneCan I click through to the source record? I want to see it is the real complaint and not a summary.
- Hannah Lowe NoneYes, clicking now. That's the original complaint record, with the same reference your team uses. The answer is only as good as the source, which is why I asked Bas about the credit data.
- Bas Kuijpers NoneThe credit system is the difficult one. It is older. We can export, but not live.
- Hannah Lowe NoneUnderstood. The short answer is we can start with a scheduled export and move to a direct connection later if it makes sense. The longer answer is that I'd want to look at the format with you before promising anything. I won't overstate it.
- Femke van Gestel NoneFine. That is honest. How fresh is the data when the account managers sit down in the morning?
- Hannah Lowe NoneIt refreshes overnight, so when your people start work it should already be updated. If a source fails, it's visible on the connector page, which I'll show you now.
- Hannah Lowe NoneThis is the admin view, Bas, which would be yours. Each source, when it last loaded, whether records are still coming in, and where something has stopped.
- Bas Kuijpers NoneThat is useful. Last time we had a broken feed for three weeks and nobody noticed.
- Femke van Gestel NoneYes. That is exactly the story. Nobody noticed, and then an installer was angry.
- Tom Ashdown NoneWhich is the thing I'd be worried about too, to be honest. Stale and nobody saying anything.
- Femke van Gestel NoneDo the account managers use it? That is my real question. Not whether it is clever. Whether they open it every day.
- Tom Ashdown NoneFair, and I won't dodge it. It lives or dies on that. What tends to work is picking a handful of managers to start, putting the first useful question in front of them, and checking in with them weekly. Leave that with me, I can sketch how that looks for you.
- Femke van Gestel NoneGood. Please do. And the dashboards? My director likes charts.
- Hannah Lowe NoneGrowth includes the dashboards builder. Let me build one live from your complaints sample: complaints by month by region. Give me a minute.
- Hannah Lowe NoneThere. It isn't pretty yet, but it's real data and Bas could change the grouping himself.
- Bas Kuijpers NoneI like that I can change it. I would not need to ask you each time.
- Femke van Gestel NoneGood. Tom, where are we on the proposal? What is the plan?
- Tom Ashdown NoneSo, the deal in the system is Growth, with a total value of fifty-six thousand pounds. That's the total deal value, I'd rather not call it the annual price until I've written it out properly for you. Lewis, one of my colleagues, will send you the written proposal with the breakdown. I'll confirm the exact figures in that, I'm not going to quote from memory.
- Femke van Gestel NoneOkay. Send it, then I take it to the person who signs the budget. I do not commit it myself.
- Tom Ashdown NoneUnderstood. Let's get something in the diary for a proposal conversation once you've had a look.
- Hannah Lowe NoneAnd I'll send the architecture diagram and a short note on the credit export, so Bas has it before then. Thanks, both.
- Femke van Gestel NoneGood. Thank you. Groetjes.
- Tom Ashdown NoneCheers, everyone. Speak soon.
