Transcript
- Jordan Pike NoneGood morning. Jordan Pike here from BB-Demo. Thanks for taking the time. So I wanted to understand your business a bit better, and then we can explore whether the brain is a fit. Alexa, Dylan, what's the shape of your operation?
- Alexa Fraser NoneWe're a commercial insurance brokerage. We place policies for small businesses and professionals, and we manage renewals and claims for our clients.
- Jordan Pike NoneGot it. And how many people are on your team?
- Dylan Tremblay NoneWe've got about fifteen in house: underwriting, client service, claims administration. Pretty lean operation.
- Jordan Pike NoneOK. And where does it get painful right now? What questions come up that take a lot of digging to answer?
- Alexa Fraser NoneA lot of it is manual. A client calls with a question about their policy, and we're pulling information from multiple places: the policy record, past correspondence, claims history. It's not in one view.
- Dylan Tremblay NoneAnd renewals are the same. We have a list of renewals in one system, but if a client contacts us with a question, we have to cross-reference their claims history, coverage gaps, all of that. It's time-consuming.
- Jordan Pike NoneThat's a pain point the brain is built for. So the idea is: you'd connect your client database, your policy system, claims, and internal notes. Then you can ask it 'show me renewals due in the next month for clients with open claims', and it gives you that.
- Alexa Fraser NoneIn one query?
- Jordan Pike NoneExactly. One query, natural language. You can also build dashboards for your underwriting or renewals team to look at every day.
- Dylan Tremblay NoneWhat kind of systems can you connect to?
- Jordan Pike NoneWe can integrate with your CRM, your policy admin system, claims handling software, basically anything that has an API or a database. I'd want to understand your tech stack before we go further, but in general, we're quite flexible.
- Alexa Fraser NoneAnd what's the cost?
- Jordan Pike NoneSo for a business your size, I'm thinking Growth tier. That's £62,000 all-in for implementation and your first year. Implementation is eight weeks, and then it's an annual subscription after that.
- Dylan Tremblay NoneWhat does Growth include?
- Jordan Pike NoneGrowth is up to forty users, eight connectors. You get quarterly check-ins with your success manager and access to the dashboards builder. You'd have a dedicated person from our team helping you build out the right dashboards for your business.
- Alexa Fraser NoneOK. So next steps would be a demo, I suppose?
- Jordan Pike NoneYeah. I'd like to get Hannah, our Solutions Engineer, involved for a technical demo on your data. We'd want to understand your systems a bit better, and then she can show you exactly how the brain works with your policies and claims. Shall I get that on the calendar?
- Dylan Tremblay NoneYeah, let's do that.
- Jordan Pike NoneGreat. I'll get that scheduled and send you an agenda. We're looking at getting to a decision around mid-July, so that gives us time to do the demo, answer questions, and get a proposal in front of you. Sound good?
- Alexa Fraser NoneSounds good. Thanks, Jordan.
- Jordan Pike NoneThanks, both. Speak soon.
