What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Demo to Maelbeek Assurances on 27 Oct 2025. Arnaud Janssens wants client files, renewal dates and complaints searchable together, and asked about security as a regulated Belgian firm. Lewis Kerr quoted Starter at £28,000 all-in, then £19,500 a year.
What happened: Lewis Kerr and Hannah Lowe showed how the brain would join the client database, renewal system and complaints log. Arnaud, Thomas and Lucas asked about indexing, natural-language search, security and price.
Customer view: Arnaud's need is fragmented client and renewal data. His one pointed concern was security, because the firm is in Belgium and regulated.
Commercial: Lewis quoted Starter at £28,000 for implementation plus first-year subscription, then £19,500 a year from renewal. A decision was targeted for 16 Jan 2026, and Lucas asked for a written proposal.
Watch: Hannah said SSO and SCIM are Enterprise only and Starter has standard authentication. If the security review pushes for SSO, the sale may move to Enterprise.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Lewis Kerr to send the written order form with the three connectors, timeline and pricing.
- Hannah Lowe to send the detailed security questionnaire ahead of the 16 Jan 2026 decision target.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Regulated Belgian buyer may find standard authentication on Starter insufficient and ask for SSO and SCIM.
- The quoted £28,000 all-in figure is not broken down on the call, which could invite price questions.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Clear pain around scattered client, renewal and complaints data that the brain addresses directly.
- Security needs could support an Enterprise conversation if SSO becomes a requirement.
Transcript
- Lewis Kerr NoneMorning, everyone. Lewis here from BB-Demo, and this is Hannah, our Solutions Engineer. We're going to walk you through how the brain works: specifically, how you'd search across client files, renewal dates, complaint records all at once. Arnaud, Thomas, Lucas, what would be most helpful to see first?
- Arnaud Janssens NoneI think for us the key thing is: we have client files scattered across a few systems, and renewal dates are in another. Can you bring those together and let us search across them?
- Hannah Lowe NoneExactly. That's what the brain does. I'm going to share a demo environment. So the short answer is yes. The longer answer is: we'd connect your client database, your renewal system, and your complaints log. Each night, we index everything. Then you can ask it something like 'show me clients with complaints in the last three months and their renewal dates coming up'. It understands that.
- Thomas Janssens NoneHow long does the indexing take?
- Hannah Lowe NoneNightly refresh is complete by 07:00 your local time on business days. So if something changes in your systems during the day, it's updated by the next morning. The indexing itself runs in the background.
- Lucas Goossens NoneAnd people can search using natural language?
- Hannah Lowe NoneYes. You'd have a search bar or you'd use chat. You can type 'show me high-value clients with overdue complaints' and it'll understand that. Or you can build dashboards that your team references regularly.
- Arnaud Janssens NoneOK. And from a security perspective, we're in Belgium, we're regulated. What do you offer there?
- Hannah Lowe NoneGood question. So the brain runs inside your own Snowflake account, which you control. Your data doesn't leave your systems. We do a security review for every customer, and for Enterprise, we have SSO and SCIM available. For Starter, you'd have standard authentication. I can put together a detailed security questionnaire so you can see exactly what we're proposing.
- Thomas Janssens NoneThat's good to hear. What's the implementation timeline?
- Lewis Kerr NoneSo for Starter, implementation runs four weeks. We'd build the connectors, test the data flow, train your team. Cost is £28,000 all-in, that covers implementation and your first-year subscription.
- Arnaud Janssens NoneAll right. And after the first year?
- Lewis Kerr NoneAfter that, Starter is £19,500 per year. So you'd pay the £28,000 this year, then £19,500 annually from renewal onwards.
- Lucas Goossens NoneCan we see a proposal in writing?
- Lewis Kerr NoneAbsolutely. I'll send you an order form this week with the connectors we've discussed: your client database, renewal system, complaints log, plus the implementation timeline and the pricing. We'd be looking to get you a decision by 16 January 2026, so we can kick off implementation in February.
- Hannah Lowe NoneAnd if you have any technical or security questions before then, let me know and I'll put that in writing for you.
- Arnaud Janssens NoneGreat. Thanks, Lewis, Hannah.
- Lewis Kerr NoneCheers. Speak soon.
