What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Marcus Bell's check-in with Luke Oakes on 3 Jun 2026. Luke is happy, usage is steady, and he said same terms would be fine at the end-of-year renewal. The price book may make that expectation hard to meet.
What happened: Marcus reported about three active users a day, slightly down from three point one, with no tickets in the last month. Luke said the brain is routine and people lean less on manual reconciliation.
Customer view: Luke has no new pages planned and sees the two existing pages as serving well. Asked about the renewal at the end of the year, he said same terms would be fine.
Commercial: The price was not discussed, so the call does not show Luke knows the renewal may move to the v2 list. Marcus will follow up in October.
Watch: Usage rests on three or four regular people, and no new pages have been built since January. Both are quiet signs of a small footprint rather than growth.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Marcus Bell to follow up with Luke Oakes in October on the renewal, covering the price change openly.
- Marcus Bell to ask Luke which further teams or questions the brain could serve, to widen use beyond the same few people.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Luke expects same terms, but a customer signed under the v1 price book moves to the v2 list at its first renewal after the change, so the price conversation is still to come.
- Usage rests on three or four regular people and dipped slightly from three point one to about three a day.
- No new pages since January and none planned, which shows little new investment by the customer.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- A smooth renewal conversation with a content champion, with a value case built on reduced manual reconciliation.

- Marcus Bell NoneHi Luke, how's things?
- Luke Oakes NoneAll right. Busy as always. How about you?
- Marcus Bell NoneGood, good. So this is just our six-monthly check-in: you know, how you're getting on, whether the brain's still doing what you need. I've pulled the numbers and had a look at how the brain's being used. Shall I walk you through it?
- Luke Oakes NoneYeah, go ahead.
- Marcus Bell NoneRight. So your active users are running at about three a day on average, which is solid. That's a bit down from last quarter: you were at three point one: so a slight dip, but we're still talking about the same three or four people using the brain regularly. Usage of the search feature is steady. You've built the pages you wanted, and people are using them. No support tickets in the last month, so nothing's broken. Overall, I'd say you're in a good place. The brain's plugged into your workflow now. How does that match what you're seeing from the inside?
- Luke Oakes NoneYeah, that sounds about right. It's become pretty routine now, people just use it as part of their day. No one's complaining, and we're not leaning on the manual reconciliation as much.
- Marcus Bell NonePerfect. That's exactly what we want to hear. One thing I've noticed: you haven't built any new pages since, mm, January? Is there anything else you'd want to track or visualise that you're not right now?
- Luke Oakes NoneNot that I can think of. The two pages we've got are serving us pretty well. Maybe further down the line, but not at the moment.
- Marcus Bell NoneFair enough. But keep it in mind: if there's something you want to ask about or see, just give me a shout. We can add pages or tweak things pretty easily. Your next renewal's coming up at the end of the year: have you got any thoughts on that, or do you want to stick with what you've got?
- Luke Oakes NoneWe're happy with it. Same terms would be fine for us.
- Marcus Bell NoneGood. I'll follow up in October about the renewal, so you'll have plenty of time. Anything you need from me in the meantime, just let me know. Cheers, Luke.
- Luke Oakes NoneThanks, Marcus. Speak soon.
