What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Callie Brennan took Emma Haworth through credentials for the contracts, jobs and Salesforce connectors. Emma expects contract credentials on Monday and the rest by the end of the following week, with some holiday slippage.
What happened: Callie explained read-only service accounts, and that credentials are stored encrypted in the customer's own Snowflake account. Emma was reassured and agreed to start gathering them.
Customer view: Emma said "That sounds straightforward. I'll get started on the credentials." The jobs system is built in house, with an API that is not heavily documented.
Commercial: Salesforce scope starts with accounts and contacts, with opportunities possibly added later. This is a small scope extension on the existing Starter connectors, not new revenue.
Watch: Friday for the contracts credentials was called tough because of the holidays, so Monday is the realistic date. The undocumented jobs API may slow mapping.

Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Emma Haworth to obtain the contracts credentials from IT by Monday.
- Callie Brennan to send the Salesforce setup guide that afternoon.
- Callie Brennan to hold a Monday sync call and then start field mapping.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- The jobs system API is not heavily documented, which may slow field mapping.
- Holiday availability may push the credentials past Friday.

- Callie Brennan NoneHi Emma, thanks for making time this morning. I wanted to walk through the connector setup step by step, and make sure you've got everything you need to pass the credentials over safely.
- Emma Haworth NoneYeah, hi Callie. We've got most of it, just want to run through it with you to be sure.
- Callie Brennan NonePerfect. So the way this works, for each system, I need API credentials. These are like a username and password for the brain to read from your systems, but they're separate from your normal user logins. They only have read permission, so they can't change anything in your source systems. Does that make sense?
- Emma Haworth NoneYeah, okay. And you'll store these where?
- Callie Brennan NoneIn your Snowflake account, encrypted. They're never on our systems: we authenticate once when you set up the connector, and then the credentials live in your Snowflake, which you control. If you ever want to revoke them, you just delete them from Snowflake.
- Emma Haworth NoneRight, got it. So what's the first connector?
- Callie Brennan NoneContracts. You said that was priority one. So what I need is: the API endpoint for your contracts system, and a service account with read-only permissions. Can you get that from your IT team or whoever manages your systems?
- Emma Haworth NoneYeah, I can ask IT. How quickly do you need it?
- Callie Brennan NoneIdeally by Friday so I can start mapping early next week. If Friday is tight, Monday is fine, just doesn't push us further behind schedule.
- Emma Haworth NoneFriday might be tough with the holidays, but I'll chase it up. Monday should be doable.
- Callie Brennan NoneThat maps cleanly with what I need. So Monday for contracts, and we'll do jobs the following week once we've got contracts ticking. What system are your jobs in?
- Emma Haworth NoneWe've got a custom system that we built in house. It's not a commercial package.
- Callie Brennan NoneOkay, that's actually pretty common. So for custom systems, we need the same thing, API endpoint, service account. Do you have an API on the jobs system, or do you need to build one?
- Emma Haworth NoneWe've got an API, yeah. It's not heavily documented, but I can get you access and we can work from there.
- Callie Brennan NonePerfect. Once I've got the endpoint and account details, I can start exploring the schema myself and build a list of questions for you. That usually speeds things up.
- Emma Haworth NoneOkay. And what about the CRM? I assume that's the same approach.
- Callie Brennan NoneYeah, same thing. Which CRM are you using?
- Emma Haworth NoneSalesforce.
- Callie Brennan NoneNice, that's straightforward. For Salesforce, we just need a service account with the relevant object access. What objects do you want to bring in: accounts, opportunities, contacts?
- Emma Haworth NoneProbably accounts and contacts to start with. Maybe opportunities later.
- Callie Brennan NoneThat works fine. You can add objects later if you want. So what I'll do, I'll send you a setup guide for Salesforce, which tells you exactly which permissions to grant. It's three or four clicks if you're an admin in Salesforce.
- Emma Haworth NoneOkay. So I'll get the contract credentials Monday, Salesforce setup guide and jobs API details by end of next week?
- Callie Brennan NoneThat's the plan, yeah. Once I've got all three, we can start mapping field by field. That's where the real work is, so I'll set up a sync call with you, probably early the week after, and we'll go through it together. That usually takes a day or two depending on complexity, and then before we switch on the refresh, I'll walk you through what I've built and make sure it all maps right.
- Emma Haworth NoneAnd then what, we go live?
- Callie Brennan NoneYeah, once you've signed off on the mapping, we flip the refresh on. First load will take a few hours depending on volume, but after that it's nightly, complete by seven a.m. your time. There's a setup note I'll leave you with that walks you through the admin console, querying the brain, all of that.
- Emma Haworth NoneThat sounds straightforward. I'll get started on the credentials.
- Callie Brennan NonePerfect. I'll send the setup guide out this afternoon, and we'll regroup early next week once you've had a chance to gather things. Does Monday work for a quick sync?
- Emma Haworth NoneShould be fine, yeah. I'll send you what I've got and we can go from there.
- Callie Brennan NoneBrilliant. Thanks, Emma. Speak soon.
