What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Calum reported searches for records from earlier months took much longer than searches for current week data. Bethan explained that larger date ranges require more data scans and asked for record count to check for actual issues.
Problem: Searches across older data took significantly longer than recent searches. Handling: Bethan explained this is expected behaviour due to larger data volumes being scanned and asked for the record count to check whether there is an actual performance issue. Watch: The customer did not follow up, suggesting the explanation was sufficient.

- public_reply · Bethan Lister 17 Apr 2024 12:11Hi Calum, thanks for reporting this. Searching across a larger date range does take longer because there's more data to scan. This is normal, but if it's taking more than a minute or so, let me know. Can you tell me roughly how many records you're searching across? That'll help me check if there's a performance issue. Thanks, Bethan
